Her fans enjoy the fresh spin she brings to standards, as well as the heartfelt optimisism that characterizes much of her original material Blueswoman Jackie Venson graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a major in composition and studio production. She's been playing the piano for 14 years, writing songs for seven years, singing for six years and playing guitar for two years and playing guitar for two years. Nowadays she wows audiences with her electrifying live shows in and around Austin, Texas Berklee School of Music student Laney Jones has only been playing music for years, but you's never guess it by seeing how at ease she is on stage. As  versatile as she is talented, laney bounces back and forth between leading her eclectic band, the lively Spirits, and accompanying herself on banjo and harmonica as a solo act. With two independently released albums under her belt, she's played festivals across the country, including Shakori Hills and Grassroots, and performed at the kennedy Center in a master class with modern bluegrass legend Allison Krauss. The Mississippi-based quartlet Surviving Allison brings guitars and banjos together to create a high-enegery hyrbrid of traditional roots music influences and modern rock style. Over the past couple of years, they”ve opened for montgomery Gentry, Aaron Carter, Gloriana, the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and the Kentucky Headhunters, among others. They”ve also won five different regional Battle of the bands competitions, and recently played at the 2013 Bulldog Bash - the largest outdoor music festival ever held in the state Mississipi. Continued touring and the release of a new album are on the horizon for Surviving Allison in 2014. West Virgina-based singer/ songwriter Christian Lopez has been playing music for over 13 years. The Christian Lopez Band embarked on their first U.S tour in 2011. The following year, they won four different Battle of the bands competititions and landed a slot on the Vans® warped Tour. Lopez”s country-rock-flavored songs “ Will I see You Again” and “ As Far As I may Go” have  appeared on more than a few radio DJs’s playlists, but it was it was his success as a Hollywood finalist on seasons 11 and 12 of American idol that helped him win over fans from all over the world.
