Since 1989, New Balance and Susan G. Komen for the Cure have been making excellence happen. In 2012, New Balance is proud to be entering its 23rd year as a partner with Susan G. Komen in the fight to find a cure for breast cancer.
New Balance has participated as the national sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Series since1991, and the Susan G. Komen 3-day since 2004, as well as serving as a supporter of the Marathon for the Cure program since 2008.
In addition, New Balance contributed $1.2 million dollars in 2011 through Lace Up for the Cure. Lace Up footwear, apparel and accessories, all proudly wear the Komen Running Ribbon and are supported by shoe box tissue paper, product hang tags, and in-store signage that explain the symbol's significance as the icon for breast cancer awareness and New Balances commitment to Komen for the Cure.

New Balance is demonstrating responsible leadership, we build global brands that athletes are proud to wear, associates are proud to create, and communities are proud to host. Because feet don't come in one or two widths, and because shoes that fit better perform better, New Balance shoes come in a wide range of widths and sizes. Our philosophy is simple: Listen, learn and refine. It's an approach to technology that puts us face to face with world class athletes and everyday athletes alike. It keeps us focused on the goal we share with everyone who runs, walks or competes.
