Welcome to Belk"
We're committed to delivering you the best fashion and brands while satisfying the modern Southern lifestyle like no one else. We believe Southern is an attitude and a state of mind.
Belk has a long and exemplary tradition of giving back to the communities it serves. Each year, the company and its associates provide generous financial and volunteer support to a variety of non-profit organizations including the United Way, the Susan G. Komen Foundation and many others. Belk demonstrates its commitment to community service through the involvement and leadership of its associates from stores and office locations in numerous charitable causes and fund drives. The annual company-wide Belk Charity Sale event generates thousands of dollars in donations to benefit hundreds of worthy charitable, civic, cultural and educational organizations aimed at improving the quality of life in their communities.
The Belk Foundation is a family foundation whose philanthropic work is the public expression of gratitude and commitment by the Belk family to the communities that have enabled the Belk department store organization to grow and prosper since its founding in 1888 by William Henry Belk and Dr. John M. Belk.
The Belk Foundation believes that education is a basis for successful society and that a quality education is the right of all children and youth. Its mission is to invest in schools and organizations that work aggressively to ensure all students graduate from high school and continue on an intentional path toward college, career and life.
