Belk eGifting
eGifting is a way to send a gift to a friend by email. It's the same as giving them an eGift Card, but with a more personal touch, because your friend will see that you've picked out something especially for them. Don't worry if the gift isn't their style or preference.  They can redeem your eGift for any other merchandise on belk.com or for merchandise or services in a Belk store.
1. You choose and pay for the gift.
2. We email your gift recipient.
3. They pick their color and size, or they can choose a different item of similar value.
4. They supply their shipping address and complete checkout.
5. We deliver their gift.
You can eGift any single item on belk.com where the “Send as eGift” option appears on the product page. eGifting is limited to items with a minimum sale price of $20 up to a maximum regular price of $1500. Clearance, Collections and Purchase with Purchase promotional items are excluded from eGifting.
All you need is your recipient's email address. They'll enter their shipping information when they redeem their eGift, so you can rest assured it will be delivered to the right place.
Your recipient will receive an email from Belk letting them know you’ve sent them an eGift. They can choose the color and size of the item you picked out, or they can select an alternate item of similar value. Once they add the item to their shopping bag and complete checkout, their gift will be on its way to them. 
eGift emails are usually delivered within minutes of your purchase, but can sometimes take up to a few hours. You can also schedule an eGift delivery up to a month in advance if you don't want to send it right away or you want it to arrive on a specific date, like someone’s birthday. 
We adhere to all industry best practices to ensure successful delivery of the eGift via email. However, there is a chance that the email will be treated as spam or the recipient might not notice it in their email inbox. You will receive an email message confirming delivery of the eGift email, and a message notifying you that the eGift has been opened. If the eGift goes unopened for three days after delivery, you will receive a message with options for resolving the issue.

Yes. You can send eGifts through phones, tablets and desktop computers.
You'll pay for the item itself and have the options of adding funds for shipping (if applicable) and estimated sales tax, so that your recipient won’t be responsible for those charges when they claim their eGift. There aren't any additional fees. 
You may use a Belk Rewards Card, Belk Rewards MasterCard, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover to pay for eGifts.
Your credit/debit card will be charged at the time of purchase. This purchase will appear on your card statement as BELK CS EGIFT CARD.
All personal and financial information is transmitted using the https protocol over a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), utilizing state of the art technology for consumer protection. The eGift Card purchase process is fully PCI compliant. If you select an item that is on sale, you will be given the option of paying the regular price vs. the sale price at the time of purchase. Sale promotions change frequently on belk.com and it’s possible your recipient may claim the suggested eGift when it is no longer on sale. Electing to eGift the item at regular price ensures your recipient won’t have to make up any difference when they checkout. Also, any funds remaining in your eGift after your recipient completes checkout will be available to them for future Belk purchases.
Only Standard Shipping is available for eGifts at time of purchase. You can elect to add funds (currently $9.50) to cover shipping for eGift items under $99. Items over $99 and all Beauty items ship for free. If you are a Belk Elite Cardholder who qualifies for free shipping, we unfortunately cannot extend this benefit to your eGift recipient. However, if you provide funds for shipping and your recipient qualifies for free shipping for any reason when they claim their eGift, the additional funds will be available for them to spend on other Belk merchandise.
Sales tax calculations are based on where an item is delivered. Until your friend enters their address, we are unable to determine an exact sales tax amount. We instead provide an estimate of funds needed to cover sales tax on the item you selected. Adding these funds to your eGift ensures that your recipient will not be responsible for sales tax when they claim their gift. If your recipient is taxed for a lower amount than what you added to your eGift, any remaining funds will be available for them to spend on other Belk merchandise. 
Unfortunately, gift wrap and gift boxes are not currently available for items purchased as eGifts
If the price goes down on your eGift by the time your recipient claims it, any remaining funds will be available for them to spend on other merchandise on belk.com or on merchandise or services in a Belk store.
If the price goes up on your eGift by the time your recipient claims it, your recipient will have to pay the difference if they want the specific item you selected. They also have the option of picking out something else for the amount you originally provided in your eGift. 
You cannot apply coupons when purchasing an eGift, but your recipient can apply any valid coupons when they claim their eGift. If the eGift is a coupon eligible item, your recipient will receive any applicable savings. As always, any additional funds remaining after your recipient checks out will be available for them to spend on other merchandise on belk.com or on merchandise or services in a Belk store.
Purchasing an eGift doesn't guarantee that the item will be available when it's redeemed. If the item sells out, your recipient will be able to redeem their eGift on any other similarly priced merchandise on belk.com or similarly priced merchandise or services in a Belk store. If your recipient selects a higher priced item, they will be responsible for the difference.
If your eGift item has bonus or free items available, those bonus items will not be included in your eGift. However, if your recipient claims their eGift when it qualifies for a valid bonus promotion and Belk still has inventory of bonus items available, your recipient may elect to add those bonus items to their order at checkout, according to the terms of the promotion.

Click the "Claim My eGift" link in your email to start the process. You'll get to choose your color and size options on belk.com. Add the item to your Shopping Bag then click on Checkout. If you don’t already have a belk.com account, you’ll need to enter your shipping and billing address info to continue. Your eGift Code and PIN should automatically load in the Gift Card section on the Billing Information page. If not, you will have to manually enter them. You can then proceed to Checkout and complete your order.  
If the eGift item isn't quite your style, you can choose any other similarly priced merchandise on belk.com or similarly priced merchandise or services in a Belk store. If you select a higher priced item, you will be responsible for the difference.
No. The person who sent the eGift won't be notified if you choose something else. One of the great things about eGifting is that you can get exactly what you want, even if it's not what your friend picked out for you.

You can redeem your eGift on any other similarly priced merchandise on belk.com or on similarly priced merchandise or services in a Belk store. If you pick a higher priced item, you will be responsible for the difference.
If the price has gone down on your eGift item when you claim it, any remaining funds will be available for you to spend on other merchandise on belk.com or on merchandise or services in a Belk store. If the price has gone up, you will have to pay the difference on the item your friend selected. You also have the option of picking out something else for the same amount that was originally provided in your eGift. 
You may apply any valid coupon when you claim your eGift. If your eGift item is a coupon eligible item, you will receive any applicable savings. Any additional funds remaining in your eGift after completing checkout will be available for you to spend on other merchandise on belk.com or on merchandise or services in a Belk store.
If your eGift item qualifies for bonus or free items when you claim your eGift, you may elect to add those bonus items to your order at checkout, according to the terms of the promotion.
You will not have to pay for Standard Shipping if any of the following are true:

1. The person who sent your eGift included funds to cover Standard Shipping
2. Your eGift item is over $99 or a Beauty item
3. Belk is running a free shipping promotion at the time you claim your eGift

If you choose one of our expedited shipping methods, you will have to pay any difference in shipping costs
Standard Shipping takes approximately 4-7 business days for delivery. If you want to receive your eGift sooner, you may select and pay for one of our expedited shipping options.  
Yes, you can pick up your eGift item in a nearby store, provided that the store shows as an available pick-up option when you claim your eGift. Please note: Quantities are limited, and the eGift item chosen for you may not be available in some stores.
Yes, Belk Associates will be able to scan your eGift barcode from your phone or a printed page so you can redeem your eGift for merchandise or services in a Belk store.  Please note: Quantities are limited, and the eGift item selected for you may not be available in some stores.
There is no expiration date on eGifts.  
You can request a new copy of the eGift email on our customer support page.  
Your eGift has cash value and should be safeguarded as such. If you lose your printed eGift, contact Customer Support immediately by clicking here, calling 1-866-747-6617 or sending an email to belkgiftcards@cashstar.com.
Our state of the art technology inhibits fraud, but you must safeguard your eGift for your own protection. If someone makes a copy of your eGift and redeems it for the full amount, your copy will have no value. No matter how many copies are made, the value of the eGift is tied to the Gift Code number. When that number is used, the value of the purchase is deducted from the eGift. If you suspect that someone has copied or stolen your eGift, contact Customer Support immediately by clicking here, calling 1-866-747-6617 or sending an email to belkgiftcards@cashstar.com.
