Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Stop with the Improvements!!! I have been using the Double Wear foundation for 15 years. I absolutely LOVE it!! I have been an Estee Lauder girl all this time. The foundation goes on great, looks fabulous and lasts the whole day and then some. Then someone has decided that this needs to be "improved". Why?? I have been using the Linen shade year round. Perfect match. And apparently like other ladies, the shades have been changed. Makes no sense to me at all!! The consistency is a HUGE reason that people stay with a good product. I could try other lines of make-up and some may even be less expensive, but if it ain't broke, why fix it??

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Such a disappointment ! Estee Lauder has changed the Double Wear formula, leaving the sunscreen out and now Double Wear is thin and has such less staying power. I have used a bottle up in 6 weeks in this new formula however the original great formula would last around 5-6 months. I have had difficulty in color matching since the new formula came out and the shades are all different. I have used Double Wear since it first came out and it is so disappointing that the company has taken what was one of the best foundations ever and has reduced it down to drug store generic foundation. I have had to search and try new foundations for about 2 weeks and finally have discovered Clarins Everlasting Foundation and I love it. It reminds me of the old Double Wear with actually some additional qualities that make it even better. I hope Estee Lauder does an accurate assessment on the response to the users of the new DW formula and will realize what a mistake they made by changing it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Very Disappointed I have used Estee Lauder's double wear for about five years because nothing else could come close to what was a normal look for me. I just purchased one of the new shades and it is terrible. The color has my skin looking way darker than my normal complexion and I have to use way more than normal. I've even had a couple of my friends to purchase the old product but I can't say that any of us will stay with this new one. Please rethink what you have done.Bring back what worked @ least for some of us.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from not what it used to be This foundation was the best I have ever used until Estee Lauder changed the formula and the available shades. It is now much more watery and does not provide anything like the coverage it once did. It should no longer be advertised as extended wear, for it doesn't come close to lasting all day. Please go back to the old formula, which actually had staying power!!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from DISAPPOINTED I am 64 yrs. old and have used this foundation for many years. It used to be the best foundation you could buy, but now it doesn't stay on all day, makes the face look cakey, and it will rub off on your phone. Please, Please, bring back the older version with sunscreen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from Bring Back The Old This had been my favorite foundation for many years until Estee Lauder changed the formula. The colors are not the same, the coverage is not the same and I liked that the old formula had SPF 30. Coverage doesn't last as long. I still buy the product but would much rather have the old formula.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from What has happened to the Estee Lauder Double Wear I received so many compliments prior to purchasing my last bottle. It no longer goes on smooth. I never looked chalky. Where is the product that delivered results!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Another disappointed customer Thanks ladies for sharing your disappointment with Estée Lauder. Now I know I'm not alone. Constantly discontinuing shades I've worn for years! So frustrating! I've switched to Wet and Wild drugstore brand for $3 per compact and it matches better than Estée and covers just as good. It's saving me a lot of money. Wake up Estée! Your losing customers by the scores!
