nothing specialI love Kiehls and would recommend their products to everyone. However, I don't know why they replaced their old spot serum for this one. The smell of sulfur is gross, which I would deal with if this stuff worked. It's no better than Alba's "quick fix for a pimple" that you can buy at Whole Foods or Target for 1/4 of the price. I loved the old serum because it didn't smell and I could apply it on a pimple underneath my makeup. I don't have acne, but I get hormonal pimples on my period and the old serum was a dream. I'm none too impressed with this new formula. Please bring back the old one! I'm going to exchange this for the blue herbal spot treatment, which is better than this sulfur treatment but not as good as the original lightening spot serum. Pooey.

Worst Product Kiehls OffersI own more than 15 different Kiehls products. The avocado eye treatment, the ultra cleanser, the crema du corps lotion, etc. I love them. And I loved the old blemish treatment so I thought I'd try this new one. It didn't work for me in the weeks I've been using it, and there is noticeable residue after use so it's often impractical to wear under make up, etc. The last blemish treatment was great (worked and always was unnoticeable) please keep it and lose this new one!

Worst replacement product everI loved the Clearly Corrective daily acne clearing treatment, so I was not happy to hear it was no longer available. The store associate said this stuff is the replacement, a superior product. I noticed the main active ingredient was sulfur. The Clearly Corrective treatment used salicylic acid, not sulfur, so I'm not sure how this version replaces the discontinued product. I was told not to worry about the sulfur, Kiehls added something that counteracts the smell. Not true.
If you're looking for a replacement to the Clearly Corrective serum, this is not it. This product is drying, can't be used daily on my skin and has an OVERWHELMING smell of sulfur. I used some Monday night, and have washed my face 4 times since then, and I still smell the sulfur!

Thanks, But No ThanksI'm very indifferent towards this product. I feel it works just as well as the old version, but like the old version it doesn't work very quickly. The difference of this from the old one regarding the texture is that this has a sort of grainy feel and the other was more of a lotion feel. I probably wont be buying this again after I have finished the tube.

The smell of sulfur is overwhelmingI went into the store to purchase the Blue Herbal Spot Treatment. The associate advised me it was no longer available and that this product was replacing it. She told me it was a far better product so I purchased it. I used it twice a day, daily, for a week. I put it on my jaw line because I tend to break out there. The smell of sulfur is overwhelming. I told myself I could get past it, so I kept using it. After a week, I couldn't deal with the smell any more. I ended up returning it after a week.
Another weird observation I have is that it makes sterling silver jewelry tarnish. I wear sterling silver rings and a necklace every day. I noticed one day my rings turned black. I thought it was strange, but I just polished them and wore them again the next day. Well, they turned black again. I couldn't figure out why because I wear them every day and they have never tarnished. That night I noticed my necklace turned black. I finally researched what could cause silver to tarnish and read that sulfur in the air will make it tarnish quicker. I realized because I put this cream on my jaw line and the necklace was on my neck and that I put my hands under my chin, that the sulfur in this product caused them to tarnish. Since I have stopped using it, my jewelry has not tarnished.
It did seem to clear up a few pimples, but it dried out my skin.

Love this product with the exception of one thingThis product works wonders and it does it quick. The only thing I don't like about it, is the residue it leaves after putting it on. The texture is soft at first, but becomes grainy after putting it on. It disappears after while, but initially, it feels like something is wrong. I will say that my blemishes disappear within 24-48 hours of use, no exaggeration.

Hugely DisappointedYou should have never changed the formula! I used the prior formula for well I ver 10 years - my go to product the help manage my adult acne. The new formula is gritty, the sulfur smell is offensive, it does not blend well and it doesn't work to treat my acne. Such a huge disappointment after so many years.

NopeI don't care for this product for a couple of reasons. Because of the texture, it's difficult to rub in. It leaves a residual that just doesn't work under makeup. It's also tinted, which I found odd.
Just doesn't work for me.
