Rated 5 out of 5 by ppaula413 from BEST COFFEE MAKER EVER!!!!! I saw the coffee maker online and knowing that it is a "Kitchen Aid" brand, I researched a little deeper. Upon reading all of the positive reviews, i ordered it. Boy oh boy..... We love our coffee maker. The machine is on more often than it is off. The temperature of the coffee, whether fresh brewed or two hours old, is very hot. Just the way coffee is supposed to be served. The cleaning feature is automatic, which makes for excellent taste, cup after cup. The "bold" feature really makes a strong cup of Joe. In short, we love our purchase, and would recommend our coffee maker brand and model to everyone..... Kudo's Kitchen Aid!!!!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Island Girl from Good looking coffe pot but can't get it to work on auto Attempted to program this to come on at 6am every morning. Instruction booklet gives you 5 steps to do this...very simple and easy to follow. After 3 weeks of use, this coffee pot will not come on automatically. I called the 1-800 hep # and talked to Gary in Tennessee. He said there is actually 6 steps to get it to work automatically and the book just failed to state this correctly. So once again I programmed this pot adding the 6th step, not hard at all. Pot didn't come on again this morning again at 6am. I have unplugged the thing and will reprogram it all over again. If it doesn't come on automatically tomorrow morning I give up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sheri22 from Great product, user friendly with many great features. I really like this product, I like the style especially the large dial. The color is perfect and goes great with my black and chrome kitchen appliances. I also like all the other features such as what strength I prefer, I can set it to brew whatever time I need it to, just everything is nice and easy to use. I do have one concern and that is with the coffee pot, when pouring into a cup the coffee seems to almost always spill on the counter along with filling the cup. I have not mastered the pouring I guess, just seems like the spout is either too wide or too square. Overall I am very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lover of coffee from There are goods and bads Love the removable reservoir, easy to clean, compact size nice for counters and the blue light display for color blind individuals. The digital setting is a bit tricky and with all coffee maker carafes, the top does not disconnect for easy dishwasher cleaning. The most annoying problem would be the taste of plastic we cannot remove from our coffee. We have tried changing the filter, circulating vinegar through. the only thing that helped temporarily was baking soda with water filled in the reservoir over night. The taste is still there. This concerns me with possible carcinogen exposure. We bought our coffee maker about 2 months ago.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hopeful from Not up to KitchenAid quality I have a KitchenAid mixer purchased in March 1980 and it is still going strong. However the KitchenAid coffee maker has been replaced twice and I am waiting for the 3rd replaceement. None have lasted six months with light use! This last one worked in the morning, we made three pots of coffee, but when we returned after my son's Memorial Service it was totally dead. The others the computer went beserk and couldn't be rebooted...Customer service has been very easy to deal with and as I mentioned before I am waiting for my third replacement coffee maker. My conclusion is there is a flaw in the computer mechanism of this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mandie8 from Wet Display Every Single Time Every single time I brew a pot of coffee, the front display accumulates so much moisture that it drips everywhere and I fear eventually will ruin the entire LED display. This is now my 2nd pot after KitchenAid sent me a new one, and still the problem continues. I've had many brands of coffee pots and have never seen this before. Yes the water reservoir is clipped in correctly and no I do not use a disposable filter with my gold filter - this is not my first rodeo. Overall KitchenAid coffee products have great aesthetics, but are extremely poor quality wise. I would never buy this expensive of a pot for the problems it ensues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JimQ from updated carafe We ordered this coffee maker as a replacement for the same model (12 cup glass carafe) Kitchenaid coffee maker that was three or four years old and getting really slow at making coffee. We discovered that the design of the carafe changed slightly and it no longer drips when pouring a cup of coffee- a nice improvement. This is our third Kitchenaid 12 cup coffeemaker. The first one died after a power failure, and was replaced free by Kitchenaid (including free speedy shipping). We now have a power strip with surge protection in line for the second and third coffeemakers. We appreciate the warranty on the Kitchenaid products.
