soft, but don't hold shape at allI'm not sure when or why exactly Levi's switched over to this new black denim, but it's much worse than the previous one. While it's very soft and comfy, it's thin and stretches out almost instantly. I used to be able to wear Levi's skinny jeans for weeks at a time before needing to toss them in the dryer, but these need to be re-shrunk less than 3 hours into wearing them. It's not that I got them too large either, they fit great when I first put them on after wash/dry. Pretty disappointing, and it seems like that fabric is being used on other styles as well, so I'm gonna wait it out and see if Levi's brings back their old materials (and the Curve ID too please!).

new favorite jeansI was hesitant to buy them because of the mixed reviews. I haven't had these for long, but I hope they last a long time because the fit is perfect. I don't even have to wear a belt with them, which I love. I got lots of compliments the first time I wore them to work because they're so flattering. I have a physically demanding job and these are so great because they stay put and look real hot. Lost a little snugness after 2 straight days of wear, but that's not bad considering how much I'm walking around/squatting/kneeling/bending/etc. So stoked about them, worth the money. I'm 5'7", 125-130 lbs and bought a 27x32.

Black 710I purchased 1 pair of black 710 in 30x28 and the same size and style in a grey. The grey fit perfectly however the black was way too small. Couldn't even button them. Since I tore the tags off, assuming they'd fit because the grey ones fit I didn't not return them. Instead I ordered another pair in a size bigger. Same problem. Still doesn't fit. Way too tight! Why is it that I buy 2 pairs of 710's same exact size, yet one fits and one does not? This always happens. Never consistent!! Lots of money wasted!

Perfect fit for my short and stubby bodyLike most women, I find it close to impossible to find a perfect fit. Before trying these Levi's, there was only one cheapo store that had jeans that fit me right... but obviously those always had a short lifespan. Then I stumbled upon these and they fit like a glove, like sisterhood of the traveling pants level magic. I'm 5'4" and 140 and got the 28 x 28 (sigh* my legs are the same around than long?!) and they fit perfect from the waist to the length. They're stretchy so I'm comfortable sitting in them at my boring desk job all day. Also, I try not washing my jeans and after a good 5+ wears, they haven't even stretched out! Will def be a repeat buyer.

Very cute jeansThese jeans are pretty great. The wash (Head West) is awesome. It's a pretty dark blue but has a weathered look to it that feels kind of vintage. The material is very soft. I am 5'8, 163 lbs. About a 29 inch waist, with decent size thighs. The jeans fit perfectly according to measurements given on the website. They are snug everywhere and didn't stretch out or get baggy in the knees or butt after wearing them all day. I wouldn't mind if the rise came a little bit higher but they work. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I wish the pockets were a little bit closer together, but that's more of a style preference.

Great til you wash them...I pretty much only wear Levi's, but I find their fits and sizing to be inconsistent. These fit as expected, though. I'm 5'9", 130 lbs with wide hips, and picked up a size 28 in black earlier this year. I loved the fit and the stretch; they were comfortable and kept their shape well after numerous wears... until I washed them. I wash all of my jeans in cold water and air-dry them, but despite my care the nice dark black color faded very noticeably after only one wash, especially on the seams. The fabric lost a LOT of elasticity as well, and now the knees and butt bag out after just a few hours of wear, so I have to wash them constantly to recover the shape.
These were a disappointment in the end.

stretch gone/ baggy knees after a few monthsI buy Levi's because I want quality pants that last longer than cheaper brands. I loved these when I first got them. They are stretchy and comfy, and I love the medium rise-- perfect for riding my bike! These quickly became my fave, go-to pants. However, after maybe three or four months of wear, the stretch is gone from the knees and crotch area. Now, every time I wear these pants I get a baggy crotch and baggy knees after about an hour. If you've ever wondered what poufy, baggy knees on skinny jeans looks like, I can tell you, it's not cute. I have a pair of 711s that I've had for even longer and they do not have this problem. I think it's the thinner fabric used in the 710s that doesn't stand up to wear.

They lose shapeI've purchased several pairs of the 710s because I mistakenly thought they were the same as my first pair of Levis skinnys which are 535s. My 535s are a thicker, more traditional jean material and have not lost shape at all after MANY (almost daily, still) wears over the past 3 years. All of the 710s I've bought over the past 1.5 years have puckered, stretched out in the knees, and generally have lost their tight down to the ankle shape. I am very disappointed in the quality. Secluded Echo was especially bad in this regard. I also found that Dusk Rinse is a total hair and lint magnet. None of my other jeans are. I own a white longhair cat so this is kind of problematic.
