The Best Primer Out ThereI have tried other eye shadow primers and always prefer this one. Something about this magical potion allows your eyeshadow to never quit, give up, or move out on you! I love the Original, it's like magic because you only need to apply a little bit and it invisibly holds your eyeshadow in place. What's creasing? I have not experienced creasing in YEARS ever since I've used this product. In fact, I've experienced my eye looks to be totally in tact for 24+ hours when I've had a big night and "forgot" to remove my makeup. I always use this magic and am amazed by how long this product lasts. I am not sure when I'm going to run out... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Mixed FeelingsI do believe this will be the best primer on the market for most, but not all. If you naturally have oily eye lids, then this may not be the product for you. I find this primer to be of thin consistency (which is nice) but the texture leaves an oily feel to my lids, even when using a small amount. I do believe that if your lids aren't naturally oily, this will work great for you. Overall, it does do the job with grabbing eyeshadow colors and making them stay. I like using it best with shimmer/metallic colors. With matte shades (especially light ones), the shadow can cling to the oils and get a bit cake no matter how much you blend and smooth.

Great Primer Bad WandI remember the first time I used UD Primer potion. I had gone out with the girls and after a long night we ended up sleeping in our makeup. When I woke up my eyeshadow was intact. I didn’t wake up looking like I'd had an exorcism (LOL). I have been a hardcore fan since then. I didn’t care for the Genie bottle so when UD switched to the squeeze tube I was so happy, but when you guys put the wand back it was so disappointing. I feel like the wand is unnecessary as we still end up patting out the product with our fingers. Please change it back. This is a great product being overshadowed by bad packaging. I'm in loveI've been using a Sample of this sent to me in the past few weeks. Before using the Anti-Aging, I'd only used the Original and while I loved it, I thought I was too young (25!) to use an anti-aging product. I've used the sample a few times, and I can already tell a difference. I will be purchasing this product soon so I can never be without it. However, I know once I do purchase it, I will never use the wand, as I have tried with the Original and do not enjoy it. I'm a new Urban Decay junkie, but I would love to see UD go back to the original packaging and do away with the clumsy wand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best Eyeshadow Primer I've Tried!I have super oily skin, and this primer managed to keep my eyeshadow in place all day. I've tried countless other types and brands, creams, gels, that clear silica stuff (wreaks havoc on my skin, never again). I got a sample and didn't try it for a few weeks thinking it was going to be just like all the rest, I was so wrong, this lasted all day, while the rest of my face oiled up, my eyelids were matte, I wouldn't say bone dry, but it didn't crease or cake up, definite plus! I'm a little older, so I think I'm going to try the anti-aging primer potion and see if I can't get even more benefits out of this stuff! Love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Eyeshadow primer that WORKS!I have tried many brands of eyeshadow primers, including Too Faced Shadow Insurance and Mary Kay's Eye Primer, and also Avon's. None of them really worked very well. Even though they helped my shadow go on better and made the color pop, my shadow would still crease and fade after a few hours. Finally tried the Urban Decay anti-aging primer and I love it! My shadow lasts without creasing or fading for over 8 hours, and it helps define the color as well. The only thing I don't like is the applicator. It's terribly awkward and I don't see how anyone could like it. Luckily, it's also a squeeze tube so it's not that big of a deal. I just broke the applicator off because it's so pointless. Otherwise, I'm 100% happy.

Great product, terrible packaging updateOld UD primer would have gotten five stars easily. I was due for new PP's and bought a few in the new packaging. Formulas are great, especially on Enigma, but UD, seriously, a doe foot applicator? First of all, it's unsanitary, I wind up swatching it on the back of my hand and then put it on with my finger, because I don't need that doe foot contaminating the whole tube. I really don't see myself using the applicator itself on my eyes, it's just not the way to get a good amount. Please listen to your UD junkies and change it back on the next batch! Also disappointing to see the same price on less product, don't pull the tricks other retailers do! We're intelligent chicks :) Thank you, off my soapbox.

like magicI have tried other brand's primers in the past but always found that it just added more gunk on my skin. And they did nothing to extend eye make up wear. So I was sceptical when I received a sample of this and didn't even want to use this at first! But when I gave this a try it was life changing!! Not only does it make any eyeshadow stay without creasing but it keeps your eyeliner in place too. I have a couple of eyeliners from an "all natural" brand that are really soft and greasy. They were too expensive to throw away but made me so mad because they would smear and crease like crazy. Now when I use the primer first I can use any liner and they stay on. Yeah!!
