Standard Return Policy
  • For returns with a receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email within 90 days of purchase, we will refund the full purchase price to the original form of payment.

  • For returns without a receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email or after 90 days of purchase, we will refund the lowest sale price offered in the last 60 days to a Belk gift card.

  • Please note that there are exceptions to our Standard Return Policy. Learn more.

    You can return all items bought in store and most items bought on belk.com to a Belk store except as set forth in our Return Policy Exceptions.

    Bring your item(s) and receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email to receive a refund or credit. If you can’t find your receipt, ask about our receipt look up.

    Returns by Mail
    You can return most items bought on belk.com (including curbside pickup orders) by mail except as set forth below or in our Return Policy Exceptions. Items purchased at a Belk store and furniture purchased on belk.com are not eligible for return by mail. Please call Customer Service at 1-866-235-5443 for information on furniture returns.

    To return items purchased at belk.com by mail, follow these steps:

    On your packing slip, please indicate the reason for return beside the item description.

    Package the slip, your item and appropriate packing materials. Please note that Belk cannot accept merchandise that is damaged in shipment due to improper packing, so please repackage all items properly.

    Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Belk will only refund your shipping costs if:

  • Your item was damaged in the initial shipping process;
  • You were shipped the incorrect item; or
  • You were shipped a defective item
  • We recommend shipping your package via FedEx or USPS insured services so your shipment can be tracked to our return center.


    Return Policy Exceptions

    Special Occasion Dresses and Swimwear
    Must be returned with receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email within 45 days of purchase. Item(s) must be in their original condition with all tags attached. We will refund the full purchase price to the original form of payment.

    Fine Jewelry
    Must be returned with receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email within 90 days of purchase. We will refund the full purchase price to the original form of payment.

    Final Sale Merchandise

    What Goes Around Comes Around
    All purchases are final sale and not eligible for returns or exchanges. Although we try to select only the best vintage products, your What Goes Around Comes Around item may have irregularities and imperfections due to normal wear and tear.

    We are unable to accept returns in store for the following products purchased on belk.com:

  • Area Rugs (5-ft or larger)
  • Wall Art (30-in or larger)
  • Mirrors (30-in or larger)

  • Furniture
  • Christmas Trees (10-ft or larger)
  • Christmas Trees (out of original box)
  • Mattresses
  • Air Mattresses
  • Outdoor Grills

    Belk Marketplace

    Customers must contact the marketplace seller directly for assistance with returns or exchanges. Marketplace items cannot be returned to Belk stores or via Belk.com Customer Care.

    Return instructions including Marketplace seller customer service contact information are available on the seller information page. You can find the seller page by clicking on the seller name of the item in your order history or your order confirmation email.

    Charges for shipping and returns may vary by Marketplace seller.


    Refunds

    Most credits are posted to your personal credit card or Belk Rewards credit card within 15 business days from the time that your returned merchandise is received. For more information, visit our FAQ page.
