Rated 5 out of 5 by Evelyn from I love this pressure cooker This pressure cooker replaces my trusty stovetop pressure cooker that has served me well over the years. I have to say that I love the ease of use of this electric one and it's very silent operation. Everything from beans to chicken stock have been perfectly cooked! Next up a batch of bone broth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Aware from Well engineered A few points. The lid and controls quite well designed, especially the high hat black plastic surround with makes handling easier. I also liked the use of real buttons rather than membranes and did not miss the detailed listings of food types on other brands menus. I like that lid can be easily detached and the helpful instructions on the point. I also liked the independent button and subroutine for manual pressure release Have been using fagor and other modern stovetops for years. Recently tried the Breville which I felt was quirky especially on consistent lid sealing

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sophie's Mom. from Love it now that I've learned to use it It takes a bit of practice to get used to this device if you usually pressure cook using a stovetop device. I've come to love this device. It's so great to be able to get it started and just walk away. No hovering near the stove to watch for too much or too little pressure. This baby cooks delicious rice in about 14 minutes. The non_stick bowl makes cleanup quick. And the All-Clad device is better quality than the Instant Pot (I have one of those too). I do wish that All-Clad would provide a more comprehensive recipe book with this device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Caroline from A huge dissapointment I am sorely disappointed with the All-Clad electric pressure cooker. I bought this product for the pressure cooker feature. One of the dishes I tried making was carnitas. I cut the pork shoulder into 3 inch x 3 inch cubes, placed 3 cubes in the cooking bowl, and then used the sear function to brown the meat. After 15 minutes, the meat was not even browned on one side! I struggled with the pressure cooker feature. The product has a tendency to stay in the "preheating" phase. When I was making carnitas, it was stuck in the "preheating" phase for 40 minutes when I finally lost patience and stopped the process! I tried resetting the pressure cooker 3 times after that but still could not get process to work. I tried multiple dishes in the pressure cooker hoping to make this product work but each dish was a struggle. I am a HUGE All-Clad fan. I have and regularly use their stainless steel pots & pans, their non-stick pans, and their slow-cooker. I proudly give all of these products as gifts to my friends and family. I was recently given an Instant Pot for my birthday and loved it. I did some research on pressure cookers to see what else was out there and that is how I found out about the All-Clad electric pressure cooker. I could not wait to get it! Once purchased, I tried dish after dish to get this product to work but each dish sadly ended up in disappointment. I watched multiple videos but that did not help. I read and reread the manual for tips and suggestions but that did not help either :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lauren from ok but not great 90% of my kitchen is All-clad and when needing a pressure cooker I decided to buy this one. Since I haven't use an electric pressure cooker before, I thought the problem was me and my reluctance for reading manuals. It takes a looooooooong itme to build pressure so it takes double the time to cook. Rice has been a sad story, after i messed up like 5 times a read the manual the cooker brought and the instructions are for white rice ( that i don't cook)I've tried several water to rice ratios and I haven't have a decent outcome.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Shelley from Frustrating Product That Should Be Great My friends have an Instant Pot and highly recommended it but I wanted my device to match my All-Clad kitchen. Pretty quickly I discovered how inferior this product is to comparative models. I am irritated that people who received free cookers in exchange for "honest" reviews are skewing this product's overall ratings. Yes, my pot does cook food. But it takes so, so long to build up to correct pressure. For example, my cooker takes 15 minutes to build up pressure to cook fro 3 minutes. In order to cook a brisket for 35 minutes at level 7 pressure, I have to wait 50 minutes for pressure to build. Rices turns out sticky and mushy. My experience with customer service with sub-par. I hope when All-Clad fixes this machine, they will give those of us who paid for our devices a new machine in exchange for a REAL review.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MichS. from It gets the job done but not so quick I have only tried this in saute and pressure cooker mode. Out of the 5 times I've used this for ribs, whole chicken, and bean soups, it's only twice given me the results I expected- and trying to make any kind of soup with beans takes FOREVER. It takes over an hour to pressurize when selecting level 7. I've checked the seal and everything else and it's fine. I'm hoping I figure out what the problem is because this wasn't cheap!
