Use it all the time now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this echo show to basically use as a simple clock next to my bed. But it does so much more! Yes…It will wake me up to my favorite song in the morning! Afterward, I will ask it to give me the news. Later in the afternoon, it will lead me into a guided meditation to alleviate my stress. That night, I can watch my Netflix shows on it. And then later, I can pick a soothing sound to go to sleep by. One night it was a jungle rain shower that lulled me to sleep. The next night it was ocean waves. In between it doing all those things, It runs through pictures of my family which makes me smile. I don’t know what I’d do without it now. Highly suggest buying this! PS….you can turn off it’s cameras and microphone if you don’t want it “snooping” on you all the time!

Great functionality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This does everything I need it to do, I love having it on the night stand beside the bed. Perfect for Netflix beside the bed, or cooking in the kitchen if you need to go over a list of ingredients and don't want to touch a screen.

Small, but great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Alexa for a number of years to control lights and switches. I thought this would go great on my desk, in my office. I like that I can use it to "drop in" on the kitchen Show 8, to talk to my partner and it even shows our baby monitor(after I set it up correctly, with the right "skill"). Would recommend where you don't need a big screen.

Alexa can do a lot!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Echo is really easy to set up. In the box is the Echo and the plug you need to operate it. Plug the Echo in and it walks you through the set up process. Took about 10 minutes to set up with the updates it has to do for the first time. I like that it has the screen that shows you besides just telling you what you are looking for. You can download the Alexa app to also control the Echo. My son who is 8 loves to ask lots of questions to Alexa. When he uses it I can go right into the Alexa app and turn on kids mode. Which is a nice feature. He can play games or ask questions. Echo will do anything his kids kindle can do in Amazon kids. You can call other people in your contact list that has a Echo too. It will take pictures and it will display your pictures from your Amazon picture account. You will need a Amazon account to get the best experience with the Echo show. I like that you can at any time turn it off with the button on the show. You can also disable the camera. You can change the screen saver. Add alarm clocks, and so much more. It is basically a mini computer with added benefits. You can add smart plugs to have Alexa turn off lights or anything you decide to plug into the smart plug. I am still learning all the things it can do. The only con is that it has to stay plugged into a outlet. It won't work if you don't have it plugged in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this Amazon echo show five second generation. It’s easy to hook up and connect to Alexa as well as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The screen is actually larger than I thought it would be! The video quality is perfect as well as the sound! Nice to be connected to family and friends so easily!

Fantastic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my new Echo Show!! Have had a couple of Echo Dots in the house, but I must say, this is even better. In combination I now have music throughout the house! I am still learning all of the features, but gosh, you can watch TV, send pictures, view recipes, and listen to music. Love the words in the screen so I can sing along. In the morning it flashed the hourly forecast so I knew what to expect. I know I can control lights etc, but haven't gotten that far yet. Very fun addition. Would make a great gift!!

Great addition to the kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I put this in the kitchen and it gets used daily. My wife likes to use it for recipes and loves that you can stream music on it. Alexa works great as well. Next on my wife’s to do list is to set it up to display pictures.
