Pellegrini 4-Piece Bedding Collection
Item #: 9200556PELLE9485VW
The large scale and rich tones of this printed, cotton damask bedding ensemble will bring style and grandeur to any bedroom. The warm reds are inspired by the same colors found in the Library at Biltmore house. In 1999-2000, upholstery, drapery fabrics, and trims were painstakingly reproduced to restore the Library to its original appearance. Among the striking features of the Library is a dramatic ceiling painting, titled "The Chariots of Aurora", by the Venetian artist Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini (1675-1741). Originally located in the ballroom of the Pisani Palace in Venice, the work comprises 13 separate canvases and measures about 64 feet long by 32 feet wide.
