I'M TRYING TO SELL THE ONE I HAVE
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hard floor cleaner worked great the first time and the second time. Then it only had water coming out one side of the scrubbers and kept leaving streaks and dirt which started getting bigger and bigger and I had to go over it with a mop. I watched the how to videos to make sure I was doing it right, I was. Now I'm trying to sell this machine and hopefully somebody buys it, unfortunately there's a ton of them on Facebook marketplace. I only have Bissell and Dyson in my house, but my last 2 Bissell's have been disappointing. The other one was the Crosswave also, but it was not cordless.

Works well on hard surfaces
I searched and search for the right product for my house. I have an older dog and she has accidents more often than I like. I purchased the Bissel CrossWave because it was light, battery operated and had a vacuum. I have a steam mop and they just spread dirt around. The positive comments would be: 1. The unit works my floor is much cleaner than using a mop. 2. Its easier than mopping 3. My house has 1000 square feet of hard flooring and it takes a little more than one charged battery to do it all. 4. The CrossWave works on pet accidents, it will clean and vacuum the mess up more efficiently than mopping the mess first. Saves TIME! The constructive comments are 1. The CrossWave requires maintenance you must empty and clean it between each use and that means letting the parts dry out. I am not complaining because I would do the same with a mop.....it just takes time. 2. You must take your time to wash and scrub on one pass and the second pass vacuums the dirty water. 3. It is very easy to not put the cap on the clean water bottle right then it leaks. 4. The self cleaning unit does not work for me, I would rather clean it in the sink. I like this unit a lot and would buy it again.

Not worth the money
This vacuum steamer sucks and I'm not satisfied. I want a full refund. It don't even pick up the little stuff on the floor.

Great For Small Spaces or Quick Clean Up of Spills
I purchased this product with high expectations since we have 4 dogs that occasionally have accidents or track in snow/mud/debris in addition to the 3 people that live in our house. And it does indeed perform as promised and the floors are clean. However and it is a big however.. The cordless version isn't for anyone with large areas to clean or that wishes to knock out all of their mopping in once session. The battery has an extremely short charge life (maybe 30 minutes). I can't manage to get our kitchen and breakfast room completely and thoroughly mopped before the batter dies. I suppose if I only went down the middle of rooms it would last long enough but I am a thorough cleaner. We have 5,000 s/f of tile and hardwood. Not one inch of carpet in our home so 30 minutes or less of power won't cut it. It would take days to completely mop the home and by then the first location I mopped would be due to be mopped already. So I am back to buy the corded version of the Crosswave today.

Great product
It's great that it saves time and the floors look clean. What's not great is it doesn't pick up all of the dog hair. We have a Labrador and sometimes it leaves white clumps on the ground. I bought it because of pets. Also I did not receive the latest model I was sent the older one. Did not get all the extra shampoos and extras which are now advertised.

I would buy this product again
Love how it cleans my floors and carpet. Very easy to use. Made my house smell fresh. I have a golden retriever and a cat. I did vacuum first since both of my pets shed so much. I think it's better t do that first if your pets shed like mine. I'm forever picking up clumps of hair. If your pets don't shed as much then you definitely won't have to vacuum first. Even though I did that first the cross wave picked up even more hair.
