Extremely drying
I've been using this for about a week, and yesterday I woke up to my skin peeling all over my face. It was as bad as a retinol purge, although with less redness. I haven't changed anything else about my skincare regimen (including the strength and frequency of my retinol), and after reading g some of the other reviews on here, I think it definitely has to be this foundation. I'm not sure if pushing through the purge will later result in beautiful skin, as I did not have this reaction to the serum eye concealer, and a lot of the other reviewers have used this foundation for much longer with similar reactions. I think I'll just go back to my usual long wear foundation, because I can't handle my face peeling like this.

Not what it used to be...
This newer formulation is much thicker and heavier than the previous version. If you are looking for a light, buildable foundation-serum, this is not it. This settles into my pores, creases in my smile lines, accentuates my pores, and you can actually see it sitting on top of my skin. Its a major disappointment considering the previous formula was SO WONDERFUL.

Very Drying
After using up most of a bottle iuddwhen I got home every night my face would be scaly it was so dried out. I realized the top of my hands were drying out and then remembered I'd been pumping the portion of makeup on my left hand and when I was finished, would run the makeup brush over the top of my right hand as well. The top of both hands were dry and scaly. That's when I changed products (different brand entirely). It was very, very drying for me.

The Original Intensive Skin Serum was MUCH BETTER
I'm not sure why the formula changed, but I wish they would go back. The original Intensive Skin Serum made my skin look like it was glowing from within. It stayed on well and was weightless. This new incarnation peels like crazy! Just flakes off. It feels thicker and doesn't last at all. It is so disappointing. I have tried 2 different bottles to make sure it wasn't a fluke, but unfortunately, it is not a good foundation and I can't use it anymore.

I haven't used Bobbi Brown in decades and I stumbled upon her Intensive Serum Foundation when I went in search of a 'second skin' with SPF. I'm really focused on protection and prevention but also on having a flawless, natural looking canvas. I've tried everything, from $500 a jar to $20. This stuff knocks everything out of the park and gives me a flawless complexion morning till night. I use a shiseido buffing brush for application and within seconds I look 5 years younger with the most natural, radiant looking skin I've ever had. I was so impressed I replaced my whole La mer skin care regime with Bobbi's products. The vitamin enriched priming moisturizer pairs beautiful as a base for this foundation fyi. Also love the modern apothecary style packaging

Nice foundation BUT...
I like the way it sits on my skin and was able to see the glow when used with the Bobbi Brown primer BUT the colour suggested by the online artist wasn't the match and the free exchange isn't entirely free so I'm a bit disappointed. If you know your colour, I definitely recommend this foundation but if you're not sure, don't buy it unless you're willing to pay the carrier fee (they suggest you to use the insured shipping). Unfortunately it's not worth the shipping fee for me as there are so many great drugstore foundations that are as great as this product and cheaper than the shipping fee.
