Good Gloss, Mediocre Packaging
I recently bought Golden Nectar for the spring and it is a lovely color and formula. It stays on for quite awhile (even through drinking coffee), feels great and is not too sticky. The shimmer gives a nice glow and sheen without looking glittery (which I don't want). The only problem is, as others have mentioned, the wand is a brush rather than a pad/sponge thing, and already is fanning out. The tube is also surprisingly small for the price. I thought it was a sample at first. I know other luxury brands with similiar-priced glosses have bigger tubes. So I'm not sure if it is worth it ... I'll reserve my judgement to see how long the tube lasts.

LOVE!
I was getting my makeup done at the Bobbi Brown counter at the mall, and she grabbed this lipgloss and I was scared because it looked so purple! But then she put it on, and I fell in love. First off, the formula is amazing. It could stay on a little longer, but otherwise, it's great, because its moisturizing and non sticky. The shimmer was really nice, very subtle and not super tacky. The color is the best part. I have darker red lips and it looked really gorgeous on them. It really just did something that no other color lipgloss has done. It also really brought out my blue eyes. Take a chance on the color and price, you won't regret it!!!

Disappointed this time
I have other Bobbi Brown glosses and I swear by them. I bought this product in the ruby sugar color, which is gorgeous as a color and like my other Bobbi lip glosses stays on and looks beautiful. However I am very disappointed in the quality of the gloss this time. I have a lot of trouble getting the gloss out of the tube on the applicator. And my gloss is less than a month old and I can already see clear space in the wall of the tube indicating it is running out. Way too expensive to not last very long. I am not sure I would purchase again. Seems like the package got larger but the amount of product is less or the same. Not happy.

Rose Sugar looks gorgeous on almost anyone
All the Shimmer glosses are beautiful but I am singling out Rose Sugar Shimmer gloss because it is one of those shades that looks good on most skin tones. I've gone through several tubes of this over the years because I love the color and vanilla scent. I would prefer a doe's foot applicator to the brush because sometimes the brush has splayed over time, but I think the applicator has improved since the first time I bought the gloss six years ago. Be prepared that Shimmer glosses are sticky. The stickiness is part of what makes it last longer, but if you are not used to the feel, and like a smoother texture, you may want to try the creamy lip color which is a smooth, glossy lipstick.

Pretty Colors - Don't like sponge applicator
Who changed the brush?! I recently purchased Lilac Sugar (one of my favorites) and I can barely get any product on my lips because either the gloss is not sticking to the sponge when I pull it out of the tube or the sponge applicator is absorbing the gloss instead of transferring to my lips ... don't know which one it is, but I don't like it. I had to put the sponge in the gloss at least 3 times to get enough on my lips. I have many other glosses from other brands with sponge tip applicators, and I've never experienced anything like this ... disappointed. And, the gloss is feeling a little stickier than usual, and it's not my lips cuz I exfoliated before I applied the gloss :o)

My Favorite Lip Gloss!
I have three of these lip glosses and love them all! They have a pretty and natural shimmer. They aren't "glittery" and they don't like like "kiddy" makeup, which is great! They are sticky but that helps them stay on well. They also have a very subtle vanilla scent, which is really nice. My favorite colors are rose sugar, pink sugar, and golden nectar. Rose sugar is my staple color (pretty classic pink), pink sugar looks great over my lipstick to soften it (very soft and light pink), and golden nectar is a warm coral (perfect spring and summer color) when I want to brighten my makeup. Love these, Bobbi! They are a makeup staple for me!

Bring back the old formula!
I have been using this gloss in Rose Sugar for several years. Today I purchased it to replace my empty tube and I immediate noticed what others have complained about - the peppermint oil. It's such an obvious change and reminds me way too much of the lip plumping glosses out there. It's literally been in my daily routine for a decade or so and now I have to find a new go-to gloss. Maybe other people won't mind, but the change in formula just isn't for me.

Good gloss, can't stand the peppermint in it.
This gloss has a good finish on the lips (I have rose sugar, which is a perfect shade of warmish raspberry-ish, creamy frosted gloss), however, I can hardly stand the peppermint in it. I really wish Bobbi Brown would just use a more normal flavouring, like orange blossom or vanilla or something; because peppermint makes me feel like I have spearmint gum stuck onto my lips all the time! :-( If this didn't have peppermint in it, I would probably give it 5 stars. With the peppermint, it just becomes a slightly psychologically tortuous experience for me! Yikes!
