I have 2 other Calphalon pans that are nonstick which I have used quite a lot, so I was comfortable with purchasing it online sight unseen. My only disappointment when I received this pan was that the craftsmanship is not as good with some scratches and surface imperfections left in the pan. Since it works very well with heat distribution, and food doesn't seem to stick, I can easily live with the minor flaws. The glass lid is great to keep an eye on the food as it cooks. It's definitely a good value for the price and I look forward to many stir fry meals made in it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ksudz from Not Long Lasting This was a great pan for the first few times I used it. I loved it and use it for pretty much every thing I need to cook. I've followed all the guidelines and I always handwash as I don't have a dishwasher. Unfortunately the pan has now started to get burn marks on the bottom and it now has a copper looking ring around the inside of the pan. It no longer really gets clean, as it always has this residue and it's unfortunate that a calphalon product would reduce to this so quickly. I have had the pan for a little over a month. It's also strange that the pan got these marks when I closely watched the food and it never burnt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michelle from Great Stir Fry Pan I bought this stir fry pan last year and have made a number of stir fries in it. It is also great to use when making fried rice. The size of the pan is ample and the heat distribution is very even. I have an induction cooktop and it works really well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jahbemis from Best wok out there! I bought this wok, because I wanted to cook a lot more stir fry in my house! I really wanted a lid, and this was one of the only woks that had a lid. It cooks so great! My wife loves using the wok, because she doesn't spill any food out of it when she cooks. Make sure you use enough oil, because it will stick if not. We love to use peanut oil with our stir fry. It smells so great while we are cooking! Have fun cooking up some stir fry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MARY ANN D. from Stir Fry Pan This pan is the best I've ever used. Thirty years ago my husband purchased a teflon Rival electric Wok. I used that one up. I loved it. The heating element was so even and nothing ever stuck. I replaced that with a Rival Stainless Steel 14" electric Wok. I had trouble from the first time I used it with food sticking and burning. The heating element was not consistent. I finally decided I would buy a Calphalon pan (stove top) to match my Tri-Ply Stainless Steel set. It's the best addition to my kitchen. Thank you for a great product.

It heats up evenly and can be filled up with a lot of veggies and noodles and lot of room to move around. You can easily cook for 4 people in this. I was tired of black non-stick woks that gets scratched easily and doesnt last longer so this try-ply stainless steel seems great and durable!
