Top of the line!
First, I want to say that these shoes are exceptionally well-made, and the presentation in the packaging is second to none. For the money, I'm not sure that you could get a better made dress shoe. In terms of comfort, they are just ok. I suspect that they will break-in over time; they aren't uncomfortable, but they aren't superb.
My only real gripe about these shoes is admittedly odd. The leather is polished so well, that it actually looks synthetic. I want to be clear, the shoe is absolutely made from high quality real leather - an unmistakable smell and feel. The way in which it is polished, and the degree to which it is polished, however, makes the shoe look like synthetic leather. I don't know how else to explain it; maybe it's the color of the leather or the texture too. They look good, but they honestly don't look like luxury dress shoes because of this. This is a completely acceptable flaw in my eyes, but it did disappoint me at first sight.
I would still recommend these, but just know beforehand, even though it isn't synthetic, the leather sort of looks that way.
