More than is advertised!First off I have used watches for serious matters a good part of my 68 years. I have used military supplied watches and personal ones. I have used 3 at a time to cross check for accuracy. I still have most of the ones I have used over the years, some costing four digits ($$$$). And I can say this cost does not equal value.
The Citizen’s CA0650-58E-B612-E is my latest watch. You might ask why I would pick this watch when I already have several to choose from? Well the main reason is Titanium. You see weight and durability are serious considerations. Over the years the size of watches has grown. Which is good, but the extra weight can become an issue and if you are active, weight and durability are both an issue.
This watch is unique in that it has the important features a watch should have for my use (date, stop watch, and tachymeter) in a uncluttered display for fast acquisition of what you are looking for. No extra cosmetic’s to get in the way of it’s function. No unnecessary features I will have to refer to a manual to remember how to use if I did want to use them. If I need more than this watch has I can just pull out my iPhone. It is easier to use and more accurate.
Now for some other minor features that also help in their own way. The crystal is flat and surround by a beveled Titanium ring giving it very good protection from hits to the edge of the crystal (yes I have broken crystals that way). Titanium is also very tough and scratch resistant. The bracelet is just wide enough to be comfortable and the edges of the links are slightly radiused which helps in the comfort department and preventing snags on other objects. The watch is also void of any significant snag points.
I know I have totally ignored some of the main features, but you can get them from the manufacturer’s brochures and web site.
This just might be my last watch. Unless I get the bug!
