Easy to apply
I have used tons of eyeliner in my day but this is one of my favorites. It goes on extra easily and it stays all day. I have 2 now and I want more. It would be nice to see more colors but that is my only complaint. Highly recommended

The reviews don't lie
This is the first time I've tried this eyeliner based on reviews. I'm willing to take the chance of sharpening it carefully - taking the shavings out before withdrawing it from the sharpener like one reviewer suggested. It has been a challenge finding good eyeliner that glides and doesn't budge. I like the way this liner glides on and stays put all day. I chose the colour Egyptian - not too black - subtle - just enough to enhance the eyelash area. I'm in my 50s and since the pandemic, I wear makeup less and want to use products that work for me. Clinique, you have great quality products.

Once the original tip is gone, throw it away
This was such a waste of money. I enjoyed it until it came to sharpen it. You can't sharpen it. The soft tip breaks off immediately. I tried every gentle sharper I had and was so desperate I tired an electric sharpener. Really frustrating.

Love the subtle shimmer
Love the Egyptian color - dark but not as severe as black. And there's a slight shimmer. A dream to apply but yes you need to be careful when sharpening because it's soft. However the liner stays put all day. My new fav!

Pretty, but you have to sharpen a certain way.
This eyeliner works well for defining my lash line. The Egyptian color looks pretty with my hazel eyes. It's a soft pencil, so you get a nice deep color, but it would not work well if you like a crisp line. As other reviewers have stated, the softness makes it difficult to sharpen without breaking. I found that YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE PENCIL SHAVING FROM THE SHARPENER before taking the pencil out. That's the only thing I found that prevents the soft pencil tip from breaking.

Favorite Eyeliner Ever
I got hooked on this eyeliner a little over a year ago and it has become the only eyeliner I will use. This eyeliner stays put, doesn't irritate my eyes, and applies like a dream. I have it in all three colors and always purchase a couple extra as backups.

Egyptian is perfect
Egyptian has been my go to eye liner for the past 20 years. Now that I'm in my 40s, it seems that black liner is way too much. Egyptian is perfect, and seems to bring out some green in my eyes. Smooth liner too.

Lovely color, goes on smoothly
I love the color of the Chocolate Lustre. It's not as great as the Brown Sugar that has since been discontinued, but it's a kinda close match.
