Good, expensive, too much packaging
I like this mascara. It doesn't irritate my eyes and I like the glossy look when it dries. However, I think $28 is way too much for one tube of mascara. Clinique, maybe you could lower the price by using different packaging. My purchase arrived today in an 8" x 10" silver-coloured envelope, looking like something from an 80's sci-fi film. Today I also received another product from another company sold to me by an independent seller at a major marketplace (I can't write in the name as my previously written review was not approved since I included it). That individual packed my purchase in a small, plain manila envelope. The smaller size and paper exterior will be recycleable, unlike the Clinique shipping bag. Clinique, I buy your products for what they can do for me, not for what they're shipped in. Maybe the mail carrier was excited when they saw the package, but I only saw a wasteful use of resources. Let's make changes where we can help our world while still enjoying good products.

Sensitive allergy prone skin winner!
The high impact mascara in black is my favourite mascara. I have struggled to find a mascara that does not cause swelling and irritation of my sensitive and allergy prone skin. I appreciate how easily it is removed (no rubbing), and how well it performs all day long. It appears to lengthen, and has maintained the health of my lashes after months of use.

Other mascaras make my eyes itch by the end of the day, but this one doesn't! Definitely better for sensitive skin/eyes, and goes on nice and smooth.

Hands down, the very best! No clumps. No flaking.
I've tried what seems like a million mascaras, and this one is the very best. It stays on all day, doesn't clump, doesn't flake, doesn't bother my sensitive eyes or my contacts. It lengthens, thickens, and darkens without giving a fakey cakey look. I'd go as far as to call it the holy grail of mascaras.
