Great first cleanse
I use this as a first cleanse when I remove my makeup, and then follow with either a scrub or a facial soap. It's a great makeup remover, however, it leaves a greasy layer over the eyes! And it blurs my vision for the first minute or so. And no I dont put this in my eyes, obviously, but it someone gets there when I rinse my face. Other than that, it works great

Great makeup remover
I use this as a quick wash to remove my foundation before using my other cleansers. I don't use it in my eye area. For my eye makeup, I use Take The Day Off eye makeup remover. I was drawn to it because it's oil-based and I have very dry skin.

Fantastic
This is the first makeup remover that I've found that doesn't make my eyes hurt after using it! I love it because it works better than anything I've ever used - removes all traces of eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara.

Horrible for mascara removal
I've been buying take the day off makeup remover for many many years, recently a Clinique sales rep informed me this was the new look for take the day off remover, looked different because it was taller and the top had like a pump look that the one I've always bought didn't. Later that night I go to use it on a cotton make up pad to apply to my eyes and OMG that burned my eyes and I couldn't open them for like 15 minutes. I rinsed thoroughly and it kept burning and when I tried opening them after 15 minutes there was glossy film over my eyes that took overnight to clear my eyes. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS FOR EYE MAKE UP REMOVER. I was extremely disappointed with the sales rep for selling me the wrong item and lying to me telling me that was the new look and improved Take The Day Off remover.

Burns eyes!
Was told that this replaces the other remover that was for eyes, but this is horrible if you use it to remove eye makeup. I actually plan to return it.

Works Well and Gentle
Wash off make ups gently, not much bubbles but can dissolve foundation well. Avoid eye areas.
