Rated 1 out of 5 by Arthur from Lid handle came off, unable to reattach After the forth use, the handle came off the lid. This is made with a porcelain handle attached to a porcelain nut inserted from the inside of the lid. The nut is too short (by about 2-3mm) to firmly screw into the handle through the thick glass of the lid. The nut screws in firmly when inserted into the handle without going through the lid. I cannot use the lid. Other than that, the product appears to be high quality and very useful. Thus far, I have not found a support link for this company to request a replacement handle nut.

Rated 3 out of 5 by K. Panz from Nice looking but not very durable Received two as a gift from my son just over a year ago. I already have replaced one and the other is chipped but still ok to use. The only reason I replaced one was so my son would still see me use two. Very pretty dishes and I thought a nice to add to my older collection. However these are not as durable as my others. The lids are fragile, the knob on the lid spins about and gets extremely hot. The handles are dainty and do not hold up to regular use. The handles are weak and snap off easily. I was disappointed at the quality. No comparison to the old french white casserole dishes I have. Those older dishes are tired, but are still the ones I will use more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by >> from I love the bowl with handles, but handle came off lid. I love the bowl because it has handles. But the knob came off the lid, and it would not screw back in. It was almost like it was stripped. I have only used this bowl a few times. I called corning ware, and they are sending out a replacement bowl and lid. Hopefully, they have fixed the problem, and the replacement won;t do the same thing. Upon looking at other reviews, many people have had the same problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by String bean from You need to fix the " knob problem " on the lid. I love the dish, especially two handles to put into and take out of the oven. However, the knob on the glass cover is stripped after very little use. I noticed others said the same thing. Will you replace??? Only need cover. Would not recommend to someone due to poor quality of knob attached to cover which is not like Corning quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LS-advocate for client from Handle doesn't stand up to usage The lid does not meet my expectations of corning quality. I believe that there should be a recall for replacement for all of us that got this inferior product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andy from Handle keeps falling off I have bought this casserole dish to replace one that had been dropped. The handle nut is a very poor design and falls out after the 2nd use. I am very displeased with the new design. I intend to contact the company to see if there is a new nut assembly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andy from Poor Handle Design I too have problems with the handle falling off. I have replaced a previous French White that was accidentally dropped. This one is not made as well and the handle fell off after the 2nd use. It seems to be too short of a thread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Patty Melt from Excellent Quality! Excellent Product! I bought this specifically, because it is the perfect dish for baking and serving my famous Senator Rusell sweet potato casserole. Anyone from Georgia knows this dish, and this size casserole is the best for baking and serving, because you get a very dense portion. It just doesn't do to try to bake and serve in a 13 x 9 inch dish. The portion is too shallow and can overcook easily. I love the updated style and lid. I had to replace my previous casserole dish because I left it at my cousin's after a family gathering and she refuses to give it back. She has now claimed it and won't give it up!
