Rated 1 out of 5 by DontBuyThisCrockPot from Imparts a terrible flavor in every dish What good is convenience if flavor is destroyed? Every dish I've ever made in this CrockPot results in the same terrible burnt flavor at the end. I've tried chili, curry, and soups; they all end with the same terrible flavor. The only success I've had is making food in other pots and then placing it in the CrockPot to stay warm. Clearly there is an issue with the heating element in this device or with the materials in the pot itself that it imparts this terrible taste. I've had the same result using both the low and high settings. I'm not satisfied, and it was a waste of money (and a lot of food). I'm now looking to purchase something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Smooches23 from Even better than my last one! I received this as a gift and loving it so far. Just sad to finally retire my previous digital crockpot after ten years! Crockpot brand is made to last and I am very loyal. This new crockpot is really nice with its beautiful appearance, black porcelain insert (my old white one shows cracks really bad), ability to turn directly to warm (for plugging back in once at your destination), many timer options, and automatically switching to warm at end of cook time. I agree with the other reviewer, the cord is too short- but that's my only complaint. Happy crock-potting! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by KBAgee from Loved it but now frustrated I utilize slow cooking crocks often so that despite my busing career, I still put fabulous healthy meals on the table for my family. I love the features on this crockpot. This is my second crockpot of this style and I thought it was a fluke when the first stoneware cracked, so I bought another and unfortunately this morning as I was about to put a tasty roast on, I discovered the stoneware that is only 6-9 months old is now also cracked. Sad day. No tender roast for this busy Monday. I plan to call the 1-800 # this evening as per another review post. I love you Crockpot, but you need to help a busy career mom out here. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cassi from cooks too hot!!! I originally had the Versaware Pro Crock-pot...had it for 6 years until my husband dropped the lid on the floor and it broke. I guess the model was so old that we couldn't even get replacement lids for it. I'm the crazy full time working mom who does the weeks worth of frozen crockpot meals!!! And it worked great with the Versaware. Well, now I have had this model for a couple months and it always fails.....every single one of my meals has burned or dried out....no matter how much liquid I put in it!!! I'm so bummed. The time of making my life easier has come to an end because my crockpot doesn't cook well!!!! I want the Versaware back!!! And my money back for this model that works poorly. There is no warm, low, and high setting....its high, higher, and very high!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scarr816 from Frustrated x2 I use my crockpot A LOT!! I always make sure to include plenty of fluids and usually use a liner for convenience. I read through the instruction booklet and have made sure to always hand wash the pot. I’ve had several items burn around the edges, but chalked that up to the food item itself. My first crockpot cracked down the middle. I’d been having issues with it not wanting to turn on and it would randomly stop within the first 2-3 minuets. I’d have to hover to make sure it stayed on. I purchased another one and found a ruined meal due to the same issue. I love the convenience of a crockpot meal, but will have to look for a different brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GinnyLee from Love it! Higher heat than other crock pots I have I have had this Crock Pot for a year now and it is my favorite. I have several other crock pots and have noticed that this one definitely cooks on a higher heat --which is great for when you want to cook things rather quickly. If I want to cook more slowly, I pull out one of my others --which is very rare. In the summertime, this crock is in daily use (since I like to cook outside to keep my kitchen cooler). I rarely use the high heat setting and sometimes even use the "keep warm" setting to cook on too (yes, it will still boil on the keep warm setting). But when I cook beans, I always use the high setting so that I won't have to wait all day long to get them done. Awesome pot!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nancy2 from Love this Crock Pot! I have owned this Crock Pot for over a year and have had no problems with it. I use it at least weekly and it cooks perfectly every time. The programmable timer is great so you can leave the house and not worry about your meal overcooking. The timer is accurate and dependable and switches to "warm" as advertised after the cooking time has elapsed. I wash the interior pot and lid in the dishwasher and wipe the outside down with a sponge for easy clean up. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tracy34 from Only works if I stay home and watch it Pretty disappointed with this crockpot. The buttons say "warm", "low", and "high". But really they should say "high", "higher", and "super high". I can only use this if I'm home and available to unplug it every hour, so it can cool down. Even on the "warm" setting it boils everything. I thought the brand CrockPot was a sure thing and I stupidly threw away my receipt and box before using it a couple times. Now I'm stuck with this lemon. Frustrating.
