Automatic Bread Maker CBK100 is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 153.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Going to Return My Regal Kitchen Pro K6725 wore out after 8+ years of enjoyment. Bought this Cuisinart CBK-100 after reading favorable reviews on Amazon. Having baked 5 loaves in it, I will be returning it. The machine is quite large, bread does not rise well. Bread does not bake evenly either. Four (4) out of the five (5) loaves I made with this machine had a sunken top which was white when done. The 5th loaf, I took out of the machine, let it rise for 45 minutes, put it back into the machine to bake. This was the best loaf (of the 5) consistency and taste wise, however, the top 1/3 of the loaf was still WHITE, and the bottom 2/3 of the loaf was a dark golden color. I plan to try the West Bend Hi Rise Breadmaker next, it is less expensive, but who knows, I don't think it could be much worse than this one! I would just like a GOOD loaf of bread without having to spend 3-1/2 hours in the kitchen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoying this bread machine! Bought this brand/model after much research. I like the stainless metal design vs a cheaper lighter plastic. This machine is stable but not too heavy. I have RA and it is easy for me to move as needed. I’ve made several loaves of bread successfully! Pizza dough was perfect and at the moment, banana chocolate chip quick bread is a favorite at the office. Love this machine. Cuisinart appliances rarely fail me. The one and only complaint is the digital window should be backlit because I have to often use a small flashlight to see the settings. Very straight forward to use. Best luck with bread flour for yeast breads. Plain flour for quick breads.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No excuses not to have fresh bread! My man bought this for me so he could have fresh bread more often and I could still get a lil funky with the ingredients. I love it. When I have time to mess around with recipes I can, if not i can toss in ingredients from one of the recipes included (so far the Italian / French loaf) is our stand by favorite (which is only 4 ingredients and costs a mere $0.35/loaf to make). I toss a tablespoon of roasted garlic in with it to keep it simple. If I had to list a complaint it would only be that the lil paddle is a bit of a stickler to pull out at the last beeps before baking. I'd be grasping at straws there though as it only takes a few seconds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FAULTY Do not buy this machine, I just sent two back because they did not work properly. Bread does not rise correctly and crust is hard as a rock. I called Cuisinart in despair, their comment was "Oh yes we know of that problem, return it" !!?? what are they doing?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Practice and Experimentation Required I've made 2 loaves of whole wheat bread and 2 loaves of gluten free bread using the compact version of the Cuisinart 2lb. Bread Maker. Though none were inedible, I'm trying to figure out how to make a better loaf. Ignoring the instruction booklet and implementing advice from the Internet helped (like proofing the yeast and adding it to the bread pan 1st, not last...), but my attempts have turned out loaves that fall while baking in the machine and become dense. Originally purchased as an alternative to heating my oven and preparing loaves by hand, I'm sure experimentation will eventually yield satisfactory results.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to make GOOD bread; still working on GREAT We received this as a gift after requesting one. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and has a large library of recipes to get started with. For me, it's not a 5-star product at this point, as after 8 or 10 loaves I have yet to figure out how to get a GREAT loaf of bread consistently. I try to do everything the same each time, measuring carefully and following the recipes, but I have only once gotten a wonderful loaf in the end. All the other loaves have still been good and perfectly edible, but not as great as I was hoping. It's also possible that I'm the problem or that I my expectations are too high. Regardless, I like the bread maker a lot and plan to make more bread tonight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Cuisinart Bread Maker. This is my second Cuisinart 2lb breadmaker. With my first one the paddle attachment in the breadpan came loose and it kept slipping. The bread pan replacement is expensive so I bought another Cuisinart Bread Maker instead. I love the features on this machine, and I especially love the ease with which I can make bread. Less mess and less wear and tear on my arthritic hands. I usually use only the dough cycle after which I shape the loaf and bake it my oven. I make bread for family members also which means this bread machine is in use almost daily. It is a real workhorse!
