Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Coffee Every Time I bought my first Cuisinart Coffeemaker more than eight years ago. I found it to be dependable and easy to use. When I needed a replacement, I bought another Cuisinart without hesitation. It also is very dependable and brews great tasting coffee every time. My only issue is that this model requires filling the carafe with water and then emptying it into the coffeemaker. My first Cuisinart had a lighted marker on the side of the machine that allowed me to pour the water directly into the coffeemaker. I like that feature much better and will be careful to look for it when I buy my next Cuisinart Coffee Maker.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still determining the quality so far so good! I bought it about a month ago after having a Keurig and taking it back. I like the look of it the design is find the things I don't like are the clock that's not back lip and too small to see I don't like the program knobs because I can't see where they go in fact I've had to take white duct tape and put a little tape on them so that I could see them I've messed up on it several times because of that as far as the taste of the coffee it's wonderful I like the hot plate that you can adjust the temperature on cuz I like a good hot cup of coffee. I'm still determining whether it's a goodbye or not I'll know more about it in another month. It's good but there's always room for improvement

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad design After you brew a pot and pour yourself a cup - you can't get the pot back in under the basket without first opening the top and loosening the basket. What a poor product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use Once you read the manual and use the numerous functions a few times, this is very easy to operate. I use the auto setting and wake up to a wonderful coffee aroma. Cleaning is easy, just be careful washing the glass carafe. As I only brew 2-4 cups most days, having that option is convenient. Brews delicious coffee all the time. One thing I've had to do is check to be sure the top is secure and tight or coffee doesn't flow into carafe. I sometimes don't put the coffee basket down far enough. I use a filter in the basket for easier and quicker clean up. Highly recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent Choice but..... I purchased this model as the Cuisinart coffee maker I had for the previous seven years totally quit. This model brews the coffee quicker, and after reading the instructions to set the clock and timer, I found it easier than the previous model I had. What is disappointing, is the previous model had an outside gauge with cup measurements and it was very easy to fill. This model does not have an outside gauge but the measurement fill markers (small numbered tabs) are on the inside and extremely difficult to see. Nine times out of ten we make a full pot (12 cups), and I can't imagine if we wanted only half a pot, how difficult it would be and we would probably have to use a step stool and flashlight to see the 6 cup marker.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh I bought this to replace a Cuisinart that died. This was the closest model to what I had. The old one had a "sight glass" on the outside of the tank so you could see how much water you were putting in. That was nice because the counter it sat on isn't well lit. The new one I have to look down inside to see the markings for the number of cups you are making. Unless you have a light right over it you can't see it. I keep a flashlight next to it so I can see what I'm doing. Had I realized that I might have searched a more user friendly model by another manufacturer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Very Nice Coffee Maker This is my second Cuisinart Coffee Maker and it does a very nice job. Yes, if I have to replace it I would buy again. But, there is one thing that I am not fond of and that is the controls. In the early morning, my kitchen has reduced lighting. With the shiny surface, the lettering around the controls is very hard to read. I frequently use a flashlight but that glares on the shiny surface and does not work well. The two control knobs are also hard to see since they only have a small white line which is very hard to distinguish in reduced lighting.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent cup of joe I like this coffee maker overall but several improvements could make it much better. The markings on the glass carafe are faint at best and make even a person with 20/15 vision squint to see them even with it filled with dark coffee. Secondly with the lid up and the maker running it does not divert the hot water back into the holding tank . Lastly when brewing the steam generated leave the pour spout of the maker and flows up causing condensation on the front of the maker making it difficult to see anything and potential water damage in the future.
