Rated 5 out of 5 by Faith H. from Daughter's Christmas Gift I sold coffeemakers in a department store for years. I know from that experience, that this is one of the best manufactures of small electronic kitchen appliances out there. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter. I know she will be so surprised and delighted to see this when it is opened on Christmas day I was able to purchase the item at a great price also. That was a definite plus for me. Thanks to the helpful ladies in the Gainesville Belk store for all their help in making my selection so much easier. Sincerely Faith Hartley

Rated 1 out of 5 by Coffee1 from Don't Do It The worst coffee pot ever! I thought Cuisinart was a decent brand so when I saw this on sale I bought it. It is a grinder as well as brewer. The designers need to be fired. The grinder is inside the same compartment as the brewer. This allows for the condensation from the brewing to build up in the grinder. It has to be cleaned and dried out every time its used. Poor design which I'm sure the manufacturer knew about and sold anyway. Will not buy their products again. Way to lose business Cuisinart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by vanessababe3 from Not happy I am really disappointed in this coffee maker. The compartment for the coffee beans is so tiny, I am surprised it even makes one cup of coffee. I like my coffee strong, and there is no button or option to add extra beans to make it stronger than the usual cup. Even the part where a filter goes is very small. There are several pieces that have to be removed and cleaned after each use, and even then it still gets coffee grinds in the cup every time. I've gone through several coffee machines and I'd have to say this one is the worst. I'm going back to my plain Jane machine!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mark from Disappointed I am disappointed with the coffee maker for the following reasons: 1. I like HOT coffee. The coffee is not hot enough for me and cools down fairly quickly since there is no burner to keep the carafe hot. 2. The bean grinder is too small and leaves some whole beans in the grinder. The chute for the grounded beans becomes clogged due to some of the ungrounded beans getting stuck and also due to moisture that builds up in the grinder due to condensation caused by the coffee brewer. 3. When you program the coffee maker to come on at a later time (say, in the morning), the bean grinder will come on automatically (even if you do not have beans in it) unless you press a button on the coffee maker when you program it (i.e., the grinder defaults to ON). 4. The shape of the carafe requires you to hold the carafe almost upside down in order for the coffee to come our due to the curvature of the inside of the carafe. I am returning the coffee maker and choosing a different model.
