Blue Grass Eau de Parfum Spray is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 30.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointing I have worn Blue Grass for the last 60 years, but having recently had to buy from the internet because department stores no longer stock it, I am writing to express my disappointed with the quality of the product. Through all the years I have been so happy with Blue Grass, the perfume lasted all day, my friend also used it and I could tell she was in the room without even looking for her, I could even smell the perfume as the shower water hit me each morning. What has happened? An initial blast as I spray and then nothing for the rest of the day and certainly nothing under the shower the next morning. What am I to do? I don't want to look for a new perfume. I would appreciate some feedback since I have no intention of buying another bottle if it's going to be the same as this last one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why has this been "down-marketed" in UK?? My Mother, aged 92, has used Elizabeth Arden since she was 14 and I have followed suit. Dabbled with others over the years but always return to Liz Arden for skin-care, make-up and fragrance. Blue Grass and Memoire Cherie are treasured childhood memories for me and whilst the newer formula of Blue Grass isn't quite the same, it still has a comforting nostalgia about it which brings me back now and then. Why, oh why though was Memoire Cherie ever discontinued? Please, please bring it back!! Also, another gripe ; why does the company no longer market Blue Grass as a current fragrance? Here in the UK, the Arden counters in department stores no longer stock Blue Grass (or Sunflowers - another favourite of mine). However, you may buy it at cheapy, discount drugstores for about £10. To me, the company is cheapening the image of the product and doing itself no favours in the process. It's great for me - I can buy my much-loved perfumes at knock-down prices but I don't understand the marketing process behind this. HOWEVER - please, please don't discontinued these classics in favour of newer, higher-profile ranges. Remember your "bread and butter" loyal customers and don't throw the baby out with the bathwater!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just love the smell of this Parfum. My Mum used to wear this some 55 years ago and have been trying to find it , well after reading some reviews about how it didn't smell as good as it used to I was worried about ordering it. Well went ahead and did at first I thought these people are right it does not smell like I remember it either until I had been wearing it for 1/2 hour or so and finally it started to change to the lovely smell I remember, just wondered if anyone else has had that experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Is There Anything Else? I am 76 and have use Bluegrass since I was 16. A great aunt gave it to me for Christmas. I've only tried something else twice (because it was given to me) and did not finish either. Blue Grass is nostalgic, it's comfortable, it's there without being overpowering, everyone always compliments me scent, I enjoy the aroma when I open my closet as I always use it after I've bathed and dressed. It is a very feminine bouquet and one that not bother sensitive noses. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First American Scent It was hailed as the first truly American perfume when it was launched 80 years ago, it has been slightly altered but the spirit is still there. I use it every Summer and still get compliments. I would give it 5 stars but have to deduct 1 star for the disgusting bottle. It's rare a perfume can last for 80 years, so please give it some respect. The new bottle of 'Red Door' looks good, perhaps something simlar in blue? The new packaging for Visible Difference is ugly though, so please don't go that direction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The shape of the Blue Grass Bottle is fine. From the day I ever discovered Blue Grass, it has been my absolutely favorite perfume. My current bottle is at least 19 years old and still doing fine. I used it sparingly (!) in case it should be discontinued and I wouldn't be able to get any more. (I could use it that little and still have it be my favorite perfume, really). Now I see Blue Grass is still being made. My day is made. Will get a bottle soon to see how the scent compares with my current 'edition' The bottle is fine, still has the same classic lines and spirited, refined horse's head. Truly a thoroughbred of a perfume. :))

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best fragrance ever I have been wearing Bluegrass since I was 16, I am now 65. It has always been my signature fragrance. My children, who are now married with children of their own, would always compliment me.. Now my nine grandchildren, when they sit on my lap, always remark how nice I smell.......I will never stop using Bluegrass.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gift for my Mother My Mother has worn Blue Grass for the last 60 plus years. She was in a friends wedding and she gave her bridesmaids the perfume. She has worn it ever since. I'm going to guess she uses at least 7 bottles ayear. Thank you.
