Bad Eyeliner from
Awful Eye Liner
First and last time I will buy this eye liner. I used it for two days and it broke. I’ve used Estée Lauder since a teenager and this is the worst make up product I’ve ever used.

Disappointing
I used the sapphire double wear eye pencil for years. The new sapphire sky is way too bright and the pencil is way too soft. I purchased 2 and contacted estee to return the unused one and never received the info I needed to return it. This was after multiple chats on this site.

Gel pencil
Bought 2 of these gel pencils but the don't sharpen they just keep breaking so can't use them a waste of money I am a good customer of Estée Lauder and am so disappointed.

LOVE THE PENCIL, BUT WILL NOT SHARPEN
I have purchased three (3) Double Wear 24-hour waterproof gel eye pencils. I am not able to sharpen them. I have two Estee Lauder sharpeners, and they both work well with the old wooden pencils that I still have; so, it is not the sharpeners. They sharpen to a fine point the way I prefer. One sharpener is brand new. However, the new gel eye pencils won't sharpen. They just keep turning inside the sharpener or they get stuck. I truly feel that the team who came up with the new gel eye pencil also needs to create a pencil sharpener that is SPECIFIC to a GEL pencil. "Antonette" suggested that I use a Q-tip to clean the inside of the sharpener with your makeup remover. I have done this repeatedly to no avail. The gel pencils just keep turning and won't sharpen. The gel pencil is a good idea, but it's an unfinished product as long as you cannot sharpen it. Once the sharp point dwindles down, it just sits due to its' dull point. Mine remain rounded and unused in a drawer. I love that this gel pencil truly does not smudge. Wonderful product as long as you can use it.

Waste of money
Have used double wear eyeliner for years and this new gel liner is awful! It Doesn't sharpen properly and is way too soft meaning you've to try and sharpen it everytine you use it.Bring back the previous coffee coloured version please.

The only Really waterproof liner I have found.
I keep this as it has proved indispenable for a non smudge, non running eye makeup. It is a great product for me. All others run or smudge in an u flattering way. Thank you, Estee Lauder, and thank you Belk s for making this available to me.

Much prefer the discontinued Stay In Place pencil
I accidently purchased the new gel eyeliner, thinking it was the same Stay in Place that I have been using for 30 years. After experiencing eye irritation and thinking the pencil was defective, and trying to return it to Shoppers, I discovered my trusted Stay in Place was no longeravailable and replaced with the gel. Although Estee Lauder's pencil sharpener is the best I have ever used, it is not effective with the new gel pen, which smudges and is too soft a consistency. I hope that Estee Lauder will bring back the Stay in Place. It's been my favorite forever and does not irritate my sensitive eyes.
