Rated 4 out of 5 by OMC from Great boots Great boots. It took me years of checking out boots by Red Wing, Alden, Allen Edmonds, Cole Haan, Wolverine, Timberland, Grenson, Viberg, Oak Street Boot etc to find these- a classic, low key design with TREAD and style. Leather soles and those Red Wing wedge soles just don't work in Chicago snow and ice (despite everyone pretending otherwise). And a heavy lug sole and a round, pronounced toe box belong on actual work boots- not on 20/30-somethings "working" on computers (we all know you've never gotten your hands dirty). My only complaint would be the laces. Not only are they about 6" too long, but they broke after 1 month of wear. And while it's nice they came with an extra pair- it's unfortunate that they're purple or blue or pink or whatever. This colored lace trend has already run its course. Another suggestion? Come out with these in richer colors and leathers (navy, cognac, bourbon etc). This brown looks cheap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alexjm80 from Great boots Great boot. Amazing fit. I've had them for a week, already received several compliments. Bought them in black, which unfortunately appears to be no longer available. A little effort and spit Polish put a real nice shine on them. Great for casual to business casual. If you bother to shine them, they are even more versatile. I like the option of a colored lace. Negative: while the boots appear to be good quality, sturdy, there is one small place where the stitching has come undone. Pretty darn happy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Alex the guy who bought the boots from Great Look, Mediocre Quality Great overall look, strangers even complimented them several times. Downside is the quality. I've used them a moderate amount over the course of 2-3 months, and the soles are already falling apart on one. Which has lead to a loud squeaking noise with every step. Probably would drive most people insane.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Renaldo07 from Great Boots I broke these bad boys out at my housewarming party and I got great compliments about them! They are very stylish and look great with any outfit. I wore these all day and the only thing I didnt like was the cushioning. My feet were hurting by the end of the night but that can easily be fixed with Dr. Scholls. Either way I would still buy this boot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ben from Great boots, slight problems though Really loved these boots as soon as I got them, however they only lasted about two months before the heel began to become unattached. IMO this was due to the crazy harsh winter we had this year (I bought them around February.) I got them replaced and haven't had a problem with the new pair since.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TriStarr from Favorite Shoe Ever For a slim boot, it has all the features you would want from a high-end shoe. I love the fact that they're re-soleable so that I can have these for years. Most comfortable and best-looking shoe I've ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick from One of the best in the price range. After much searching, i settled on these boots. They are a worthy budget alternative to wolverine thousand mile boots. The construction is on-par with my red wings. I am satisfied with the quality of the leather. The tread on the soles is a welcome addition in the icy winter conditions of new england. They look stylish and conservative (with the included black laces). Only concern is that they stain easily from salt. Will have to oil them regularly to keep them looking fresh.
