Rated 5 out of 5 by Steven from If you like classic, sturdy, great looking and well made ... I ordered two pairs in black and burgundy at the same time. They are of excellent quality, look and just a classic style. Finish and workmanship are fantastic. I wear either of these pairs of shoes 5 days a week depending on suit color. I will usually wear out both pairs in under two years. So I know they can stand up to alot of walking on asphalt and sidewalks and in rain and snow. It was a little odd that the black pair was much tighter than the burgundy pair. Both were the correct size and both still fit, but the black pair must have been made on a different day on a different assembly line. Nonetheless 5 stars from me. Rated 4 out of 5 by Jon Old School from Liked the black so I bought burgundy too I had a black pair of these Lexington's that fit well and since the store did not have this color in stock I bought the burgundy too on the web. The color is darker than the Wingtip burgundy Lexington. I think the color on the burgundy wingtip Lexington is brighter and nicer (its more burgundy) this is dark red, almost a brown. Like my black Lexington's in the same style, breaking in this shoe is tough, however, once broken in it fits well, its comfortable and very durable. I tried Bostonian and Rockport and I think for comfort, durability, appearance, and price nothing beats the value of a Florsheim shoe, nothing. I just retired black Lexington sytle Florsheim shoes I bought 8 years ago after replacing the bottoms 3 times with extensive use over eight years (now I rotate but eight years ago I didn't), the leather finally cracked and was not worth replacing the sole again. I only buy Florsheim now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pleased Preacher from Great Shoe -- All the Way Around I'm a pastor and wear this shoe for worship services and my day-to-day work. It holds a shine very well and, I believe, shows that I care about my appearance as I dispatch my duties for my congregation -- both at worship services and when I go see them in the hospital or nursing home. This is my second pair of this style. The first pair lasted a long time (I put new soles and heels on that pair three times before the uppers cracked.) The break in time was minimal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Premo from Captoe style glove comfort.......... I have been a user of Florsheim Shoes for the past 35 years. I wear them every day of my life. My ankles are bad and seems that Florsheim is the only shoe I can wear all day and not ache at the end of the day. When my ankles start to ache I know it is time to replace them. They last me a couple of years by rotatiing 2 pair. I used to wear the upper end wingtips but have settled on this Lexington shoe for the past several years. The price is right and there is nothing to not like about the shoe. They are lighter than the wingtips which I do think is a huge plus. I have tried all other shoes throughout the years but nothing fits, wears, resoles well, and has style like the Florsheim products. I wear other styles of Florshiem also. (lofers etc)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Time to look elsewhere! from Previous owner of this shoe I've owned this shoe before, they changed it for the worst. Ordered 2 pair online. Quick shipping. Fit great and are comfortable to wear all day. Unfortunately the shoes are clunky to walk in. The sole is a rubberized plastic that can be slippery on certain surfaces. The top of shoes finish looks cracked at the flex point. This was a great shoe for the money but no longer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Former Florscheim Guy from Redesign? NOT security Friendly!!! I have worn the Lex Cap Toe for 10 years. Until recently, they were perfect for me. I have to clear a metal detector SEVERAL times a day and these were perfect, as they USED to clear. I just purchased a new pair and guess what?! Yep, the new shoes have steel shanks for arch support. It would have been nice to know this in advance, but there is no mention of this change to the shoe anywhere that I could find. I am very disappointed and Florscheim has just lost a long-time customer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by shanethenurse from Not impressed! Wore these shoes less than 20 days and the soles split and the leather separated from the soles. Not at all comfortable, feet are sore every day. Very disappointed. My last pair last 15 years with average 200 days wear per year and were extremely comfortable. Will most likely never buy another Florsheim product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Frank from Satisfied yet again This was yet another very comfortable and good looking Florsheim shoe that I am proud to wear. I have owned dozens of florsheims and this is right up there with every other one I have purchased.
