Rated 2 out of 5 by Chynnalynn from Received broken First I'll tell you what I like about this watch. I like the Abalone face. I like its size. And the stem of the watch is easy to pull out and work. The mesh band I think well work for me very nicely. What I do not like about the watch is the clasp. Clasp does not lock. The locking part just flops around. That means I'm going to have to go to a repair place and have it fixed. Or pack the watch up and return it. Either way I'm going to have the frustration and aggravation of returning an item that should have been in perfect condition when I received it. Apparently Fossil's Quality Control Department is slacking off.

I have worn it everyday since I got it and have received so many compliments! Very sharp looking watch - wear it for dressy or casual. Also, very lightweight-have caught myself checking to see if I forgot my watch as I don't know it is there! As for the clasp comments, I bought it from a store and once he adjusted the length he showed me how to use the clasp - super easy to use and it is very secure!

It is even more beautiful that I expected - from its amazing blue face to its silky band to its secure band closure. How could Fossil possibly improve on the design of something so lovely! The only thing that would make this purchase any easier would be to include instructions for adjusting its band. This clasp is incredibly secure as it requires one to hook, clasp, and then fold over the clasp. I will admit that I am not mechanical, but this clasp had me truly stumped. I ended up taking mine to a jeweler to have it adjusted as it does not adjust as do other mesh bands. It was well worth the additional charge to learn how the clasp itself works. And as my jeweler said, once the watch is secured, it isn't going to come off. :)

Today I was able to take it to the Fossil store & they showed me how to operate the clasp. In all fairness the store manager said it took her 2 hours to figure out to clise the clasp. So I like it very much but Fossil needs to include detailed instructions on the clasp.

And I can still tell the time with the colored face. It took a while to adjust. Thank heavens for videos. Maybe my favorite....definitely in the top 2

Rated 1 out of 5 by Evan from Never Order Online Ordered the watch and opted for the custom engraving. It was a gift for Christmas. Received the watch quickly; however, the engraving was very lopsided and uneven. Not a huge deal, figured I would just send it back and get it replaced. Accidents happen. Call customer service and follow instructions to a T for sending back the watch to be exchanged. The lady on the other end even puts it in the notes that the engraving was off and it will be replaced. Send it back within two days and wait a week to receive an email confirmation that Fossil got it back. Call to make sure they are sending a new watch. Informed by the customer service person that they have indeed sent out a new watch and I should receive it that Tuesday. Watch never comes, so I call Wednesday night and am told they never sent out a new watch and are just crediting back my card. So I basically just ordered a watch to waste my time because the soonest they can get me a watch would be after Christmas. Thanks Fossil! Now I have to drive an hour to the nearest mall, which is fine, but there was no point in me ordering online. If you want my advice, just go to the store. As dumb as it sounds, you'd save a lot of time, because chances are you'll have to go anyway.
