Rated 5 out of 5 by jennaseattle from Cool AND surprisingly versatile I've wanted a pair of Frye Belted Harness Boots for years but just never pulled the trigger. I'm not usually a mule gal (more heels or boots) but I hoped these would be the best of both worlds- and they really are. I get the cool toe and harness hardware PLUS I get to keep my ankles! Not only is this flattering (particularly since I'm not so tall and have athletic calves) but it also allows for a wider variety of options on bottom. I can wear these with anything I could have worn with boots (skirts, shorts, jeans) plus more options like capris. The perfect thing to slip on heading out the door when your outfit needs a little something.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suki2812 from Gorgeous Mules! I love Frye boots and shoes, and have five pairs. The Belted Harness Mules are the latest addition to my collection. (They were a lovely birthday present from my husband). I got them in my usual size (6) and they fit perfectly. They are a well crafted, good looking and sturdy pair of mules that go with jeans and skirts. I am not a "mule person" in general (and typically wear boots) but it didn't take me long to get used to these. I was worried about some of the comments about these mules being too heavy since I am 5' 3" and average build. Well, I enjoy their solidness, and love how they look and feel on my feet. I know I am going to get a lot of wear out of them across all seasons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MLWhitmore from Once broken in, it's the Perfect shoe. I had drooled over these mules for a long time. I love mules and wanted something solid and chunky w/attitude. When I finally saved my pennies I bought them in Chestnut, but a size too big. I have a wide forefoot and usually measure a 7 or 7.5. They had to be exchanged for a 6.5 – and I switched to black. Decided I wanted more biker, less cowboy. They look great w/leggings or a dress. These shoes are very well made, lined w/cushy leather, and super heavy. At first they're stiff, so you have to commit to a break-in period... after which they're absolutely perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bella from Excellent Quality...5 Stars I have 2 pairs that are over 10 years old and have seen their better days, so I just ordered and received my new pair I ordered last week. Quality hasn't changed one bit and these are some pretty nice looking shoes and if I remember correctly they getting better. Please Frye don't stop making these quality shoes made in our country I've enjoyed through out the years. I'll be a loyal customer always.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ollie from Love these shoes I received these shoes a couple weeks ago. I have worn them about 2 hours a day because they do need breaking in. I wear a lot of walking shoes which have a lot of support and are very lightweight. So it does take some time to get accustomed to their weight. I love the square toe style, and because I dress casually, they go with everything. They are mildly distressed, so they will wear really well for a very long time. I do hope the leather softens over time too. The only suggestion I have would be soften that leather up just a little. I plan to buy the other colors too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JayKay from Biker chic for painful heels I have Haglund's Deformity (pump bump) from wearing bad shoes, so having ANYTHING touch my heels is less than fun. I thought that I would be wearing ugly shoes and flip flops for the rest of my life till I found these. I've always wanted this style of boot, so to find it in a mule was too good to be true! They look fantastic with skinny jeans, and I'd even wear these to a club to see a band. I wore them for a cross country trip this winter and loved how quickly they broke in and got comfortable. Also, flip flops + freezing temperatures don't mix, but my feet were warm in these! Frye sizing may be all over the place with different styles, but the sizing on these will be your true measured size. If you are buying online just pop into a local shoe store and get measured (wish that worked for Frye sandals, those must be tried on to determine fit). Bottom line, these are cute, cool, comfortable, well made, and worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cowgirl Boots from Just Fabulous! I have been wanting a pair of these for years as I'm a collector of Frye boots. I have no idea what took me so long but I got the brown which I love and now have my sights set on the black. They are amazingly comfortable. I wear dresses 99% of the time and like the way they look with them too. I recommend 1/2 size down if you have a narrow or medium width foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lynn111 from GREAT shoes I have coveted these shoes for a long time. I have a pair Frye Harness 12R which I love but in reality I'm just not much of a boot gal. These are perfect--have the cool Frye buckle and chunky heel but without being a boot. They are comfortable and I love them. I am usually an 8.5 and bought an 8.5 but wear them with insoles for a better fit for my narrow feet.
