Rated 1 out of 5 by BeckyV from Broken? It won't spray so I couldn't use it. I'm not sure if the can lost its pressure or if it's just broken. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by Megan from Ruined my boots I just treated my cognac Melissa Button boots with the weatherproof spray I got yesterday. It squirted globs onto my boot and I couldn't get it to rub in evenly. Now they're speckled and blotchy and totally messed up. I'm super angry. I just read other reviews that said the same thing. I wish I had known this, I would have gotten the cream instead. How can you sell something that does not perform exceptionally well? I saved for months to be able to buy these boots, and now they may be permanently ruined.

Rated 1 out of 5 by leanneAK from may ruin the leather So I just received my Veronica Short boots in the mail this afternoon. I had, in a previous order bought this weather proof spray. When I applied it to my boots, as directed so on the bottle, it did very much so darken my boots… only time will tell if as the boots "dry" the color will then again lighten or if the leather is ruined. Even though the bottle warns that "it may darken light leather", I have dark brown leather boots, that now look black. I have an e-mail in to the Frye company asking for answers or a new pair of boots… if you do apply this spray to your Frye leather boots, I would recommend spraying a cloth FIRST and then applying the cloth to the leather boot. Applying the spray directly onto the boot is not something I recommend because it DOES NOT distribute evenly, it comes out a straight stream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mexiflor from Miracle Rescue Remedy for Leather I ordered this to treat my Campus boots which had dried out and spotted with mildew (I live in the Caribbean and humidity destroys all leather!) I was dubious as I thought the dark mildew stains would be permanent. I often just have to wipe the mould of my leather bags and shoes, so it's a bit of an issue. This product is so simple, just pump spray on the leather and wipe off and repeat when necessary. It has healed light scuffs and removed all evidence of mildew marks. I'm going to keep treating them so it really soaks in. The label says it may darken the leather, but in my case it enhanced it, bringing out the rich colors of the leather - my boots are the banana color. I have now used on my Frye Mary-Janes and all other boots, shoes and bags I have here! Amazing product and not expensive for the restorative work it does. Thanks Frye, now my boots look beautiful again and refreshed.
