Returned them but could not get the next size up because they were non refundable. . What the heck is with that? The zipper needs a leather flap that covers over the zipper. The boots were for my daughter for her birthday.

I ordered them to take on a trip and was really concerned that they wouldn't be broken in. But even though they are sturdy with a great, thick sole, the leather is so soft and flexible that they were comfortable immediate. Love the style with the taller ankle that makes them great with pants or skirts. They are the best combat boots I have ever bought.
