Rated 5 out of 5 by Sippi from Great Chukka! I went back and forth between this boot and the Walter. I chose this one because it wasn't quite as dressy, however still had the leather sole. I've had them for about a month now. When I first got them, I could hardly get my foot in the 8.5, but I knew they would stretch. If I would have known they would stretch this much, I would have somehow gotten an 8. They are a Chukka boot though so they aren't supposed to fit tight. Craftsmanship is amazing. You can definitely tell a difference in leather between these and the Oliver's. These are much cleaner and a great boot that can be dressed up with the leather sole, or dressed down. I went with the Cognac color. The only thing I will say about the color is that it will darken (mine has at least), with the slightest bit of conditioner on them. Highly recommend them as always.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick1 from Great shoe so far I was deciding between the Phillip and the James chukka. Went with the Phillip because it seems more versatile. So far the pair is great. They seem to fit right out of the box. According to the brannock device (that measuring device any shoe place has), my shoe size is a 9.5 (heel to toe measurement) and a 10 (heel to ball measurement). The size 9.5 of these shoes fit very well for me. At first I thought they were too big, because I have plenty of room in the toe. (I even almost returned them.) But I've realized the sizing seems pretty great for the flex of the shoe. My suggestion is find your heel-to-ball (arch length) shoe size (go to any shoe store for this) and order 1/2 size down. Or, alternatively, just go with your heel-to-toe shoe size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jorge from Great Investment This is my first pair of Frye shoes. I was very hesitant purchasing online as I was uncertain of the sizing but Khenti fron Customer Support was spot on with the recommendation. Like the previous reviewer said, I had trouble squeezing my left foot (the larger one) into the shoe but being leather it stretched appropriately. The quality of these shoes are unbeliveable. I'm extremely happy with the craftsmanship and design. Worth every dollar!

Rated 1 out of 5 by jpColo from Great looking, Poor Quality. I've worn these boots periodically since Nov. 2015. After a little more than one year (just winter months) of use, the soles have worn a hole and the stitch seams are begin to tear. I would not recommend these boots to anyone.
