Tyler Lace-up Boot is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mike's shoes don't fit! I love the look of this boot. In fact, I bought this same boot a couple years ago, but in black. Decided to get them in brown this time. BUT, they fit completely different. Same size as last time, but different fit. I can barely get them on, then when I wear them the blood supply to my toes is cut off. They're way too tight right at the bottom of the laces. Even with the laces taken out... still can't barely it into them. If I went up a size, that would make them too long. Trying to decide if I should return them or try and break them in....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to put on, and loose fit I waiting many months to purchase this boot, anticipation was killing me so I pulled the trigger- leather quality is top notch, but they are hard to put on unless you completely remove the laces part way down, also once on the fit is larger than anticipated with heel slippage, little disappointing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Boot I have warn the Tyler lace up boot(s) for about 8 years now. Never had a problem other than one pair had a defect in the inner lining. They replaced them for free. I get about 4 months out of a pair but I am on my feet most of the day on construction sites. Please never discontinue!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality As another review mentioned, these boots require serious effort to put on, even after a year and a half. I bought them in December 2015 and by spring the heels had worn out, both inside and out. Another year of casual wear later the entire inside on the heel on one of them has totally worn out and the leather pulls out when I take off the boot. With Frye's reputation for making 'boots that will last a lifetime,' I definitely expected to get more than a year and a half out of them before they started wearing out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection (still) I bought my last pair of Tyler lace up boots over fiver years ago. After wearing the cr@p out of them, I finally replaced them with a new pair or the same. Happily, they have the same Great fit, style, and craftsmanship I've come to expect from Frye. All too often manufacturers change designs to make them new, save money, or just for the heck of it (sorry Nike) but not Frye. These boots are just as good, just as comfortable, and just as well made as the old ones. I'm looking forward to another five years of greatnwear with a great pair of boots.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great style, width is tight. I bought the Tyler Lace Up Boot after trying them on. I loved the look/style of them. They were a bit tight width-wise, but I thought they would break in after wearing them a few times. After having them a few months, they have not really changed and they hurt my feet when I wear them. It is definitely a testament to the quality of the boot if my big flat feet don't break them in, but if you have a wider foot then I would definitely make sure they are comfortable the first time you put them on. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great looking boot This is a great looking boot with a bit of vintage feel. The leather is extremely soft and a beautiful brown shade of brown. They run narrow and I ordered a half size down, which fit well. I hated to do it, but ultimately returned them for something with a Goodyear Welted sole.
