Rated 5 out of 5 by PdxArchitect from Perfection (still) I bought my last pair of Tyler lace up boots over fiver years ago. After wearing the cr@p out of them, I finally replaced them with a new pair or the same. Happily, they have the same Great fit, style, and craftsmanship I've come to expect from Frye. All too often manufacturers change designs to make them new, save money, or just for the heck of it (sorry Nike) but not Frye. These boots are just as good, just as comfortable, and just as well made as the old ones. I'm looking forward to another five years of greatnwear with a great pair of boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HNF1 from Just a nice little boot! Had a problem with my first pair (defect in leather that became apparent after first wearing) - but customer service was great. Sent a new pair to me via overnight, as I was leaving on a long vacation in a few days, and I really wanted to take my new boots! Spent two weeks in Europe wearing these almost every day walking for miles each day. Took a couple of days to break in, but no problem with blisters or anything uncomfortable. Overall, I would say these boots are a little narrow - I have a fairly narrow foot, and even for me, they feel narrow at the toe. Wonder if I ordered a half-size up if that would have helped...but I think they would have been too long. Love the rubber inset on the leather sole, which is wearing like iron (strong rubber...not wearing out quickly).

Rated 5 out of 5 by bootsyboots from Very Comfortable & Stylish Great comfortable boot. Narrow D width works. anything wider and you might not like it. Runs a little long. I wear an 11 in most sneakers. I ordered 10.5 I might even been able to squeak in a 10, but after a night out 10.5 feels fine. Definitely want to treat them. Seems to have no DWR out of the box...

Rated 5 out of 5 by GBrown from Best Work Boot! Best boots out there for what I do! I work in roofing as a consultant/salesman so I need something versatile, but still professional. These boots are great for meeting new clients and for hopping up on a roof in the same day. Typically I wear a 9, but I ordered a 8.5. They were snug at first, but perfect after I broke them in. The rubber on the bottom of the sole did wear out, but that's expected. Looking for a professional boot but able to take a beating....get the Tyler's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NathanB from Great style, width is tight. I bought the Tyler Lace Up Boot after trying them on. I loved the look/style of them. They were a bit tight width-wise, but I thought they would break in after wearing them a few times. After having them a few months, they have not really changed and they hurt my feet when I wear them. It is definitely a testament to the quality of the boot if my big flat feet don't break them in, but if you have a wider foot then I would definitely make sure they are comfortable the first time you put them on. Rated 5 out of 5 by Gomab from Fantastic pair of boots! I love these boots, especially the burnish heel and toe. These boots have a lot of character with rugged whip appeal. Very soft supple leather and a stylish vintage look. I have been looking for a pair of boots like this for quite sometime. Thank you very much Frye!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joseph from Great boots Once you get them on, which requires some pretty decent core strength, you'll not want to take them off. Very comfortable boots, and you can feel he quality.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jersw from Poor quality As another review mentioned, these boots require serious effort to put on, even after a year and a half. I bought them in December 2015 and by spring the heels had worn out, both inside and out. Another year of casual wear later the entire inside on the heel on one of them has totally worn out and the leather pulls out when I take off the boot. With Frye's reputation for making 'boots that will last a lifetime,' I definitely expected to get more than a year and a half out of them before they started wearing out.
