Rated 5 out of 5 by CheleNY from Love!!!! This is my second pair of Valerie shearling Frye boots. I have the pull-on and absolutely love them but wanted a shorter style to interchange. These boots are fantastic! Cozy warm and adorable! The fur tones down the combat style a bit so they are a little more feminine in my opinion. And the sole on the Valerie makes me feel safe walking on slippery paths in the winter. One word of advice - go down a half size the shearling compresses a bit after a few wears if you are a 1/2 size lower you will be more comfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mamacita2869 from Great boot, cheap laces! I love this boot, comfy, runs true to size, warm, gorgeous but Frye used really poor quality laces. I read on another site that many poeple had the same problem that I had, laces on both shioes broke the first time wearing them! I called Frye and they are sending out new laces but hopefully they are not the same lace but a better quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by delle from Excellent purchase I highly recommend this boot. It fits true to size, is extremely warm and very durable. I had no problems with the laces. I really cannot find any fault with these. It's an excellent investment. They can be dressed up or down depending on your personal style.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolK from Make this shoe without shearling This is the shoe everyone wants - just plain leather lining, nice padding to sole. I find it absurd that I cannot find a shoe like this boot in plain leather lining. You are sold out over size 8 in the Tyler plain leather shoe, and we are not even in the Autumn days yet of 2017. I note many complaints of your booties running too narrow as well. We like roomy boots in the cold weather. A tight fitting boot equates to cold feet in Minnesota Winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by architectbarb from Wonderful boots! Got as a holiday gift. Have worn many times since. Warm but not too hot--great for those whose feet always get cold. I have no problems with the laces--great thing about these is once you get the laces set the boots can be taken off and put on with the zippers. A bit expensive but will likely last forever. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by PatC from Comfortable right out of the box! I live n the woods and we have deep snow. My first pair of Frye boots and I can't be happier. Wore them for 8 hours first day, warm and comfy. They look great too! Super!

Rated 4 out of 5 by roselala from Great boot, awful laces As the other reviewer stated, the laces are awful compared to the rest of the boot. Mine also started fraying upon my first wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fvdh from very comfortable I wear orthotics and usually have to go up a full size from my regular size 7. I bought 7.5 and they fit perfectly with the inserts in place. They are very nice and warm, now snow since I bought them, go figure, so I don't know if they hold up in foul weather.
