Rated 3 out of 5 by John D from Waist bands "pucker" I certainly like the pouch style---have worn them before from another manufacturer. But I find that the waist bands "pucker" on the colored versions of the underwear. I had no such problem with my older, all-white Jockey pouch underwear. Is this a common issue? Is the elastic used in the colored versions different from what is used in the white counterparts? These are brand new pouch briefs and the waist band issue occurred from the very first wearing. I will probably continue to wear them, but, in hindsight, I wish that I had simply decided to stay with the all-white briefs for this purchase. Thank you. John Davidson

Rated 3 out of 5 by Aaron K from The Decline of Jockey I have been a Jockey customer for over 20 years. I used to buy my briefs and boxer briefs in local stores, but they have stopped carrying Jockey Pouch style. They still sell the basic Jockey underwear in the old Y-Fly, which I hate. Also, the selections on the website have become limited in colors and my last few purchases have not been up to the quality of the past. Holes appear in the seat and leg crotch area after 3 to 4 months of wear. Colors fade quickly with 5 or 6 washing. I still buy Jockey H-Fly boxer briefs and briefs for the H-Fly, but I am becoming increasingly disappointed in declining quality. I would love to see more colors and trunks with an H-Fly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robert V from Therapeutic There's a condition I have learned is common to older men: hydrocele. It causes considerable swelling to one...side. Apart from discomfort, I am told that it is a benign condition caused by constriction in the mechanism that regulates the amount of fluid (although you should have it checked by an MD since it might be a symptom bad things like cancer. It's a simple check). The main discomfort comes from not enough support and/or too loose underwear, and normal underwear is too tight. I tried lots of brands and Jockey Pouch, both brief and boxer, are the best for this issue. Condition-specific underwear is available, for about three times the Jockey price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RICHARD H from Comfortable Full Coverage These cotton boxer briefs are ideal for cold weather wear for two reasons; they're comfortable and warm. The pouch design also allows easy access when nature calls. I also had surgery on my left leg to remove a melanoma with a skin graft taken from the right leg. These cover both those sites. The only complaint is when they were assembled at the factory, the seamstress missed some stitching and they had to be sown by hand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Walter D from Not for old men I am 79 years old. My wife prefers I wear boxer briefs because I play a lot of golf with shorts on and sometimes put my foot up on the front of the cart. I have two problems with these Jockeys. The waist band rolls, none of my others do not do that. I wanted to try the H pouch and love the idea. Your pouch is to high for an old man, I'm not going to explain that but an inch lower pouch would fit me much better. I wear an XL.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Marian B from Jockey Pouch Boxer Briefs Not Quite 5 Stars I have been buying these pouch boxer briefs for many years and always thought of them as 5-star underwear. However., this latest purchase falls a little short because these briefs sit too high above my waist. They actually cover part of my stomach. Previous ones sat squarely on my waist. I'm a 68 year old man who is in pretty good shape, so I'm not sure these are different from previous purchases.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HAROLD D from GREAT FIT. I HAVE ;PURCHASED JOCKEY PRODCTS FOR MANY YEARS, THESE ARE EXCEPTONALLY COMFORTABLE AND RENDER FINE SUPPORT. THUS, I RECOMMEND THIS ITEM AS QUALITY MERCHANDISE - ELSE I WOULD NOT HAVE MADE THIS PURCHASE AS A WW II COMBAT INFANTRY VETERAN; I WOULD APPRECIATE - ONCE AGAIN - READING MADE IN THE USA, ON YOUR GARMENTS. Rated 5 out of 5 by John H from Great for new dads Few reviewers mention my favorite feature of Jockey Pouch Boxer Briefs, maybe because it is a little crude. The horizontal fly makes doing a #1 very simple. Just unzip, pull it out, and let loose. This was a lifesaver when my daughter was a baby and wanted to be held all the time. I could relieve myself single-handed while holding her in my other arm.
