Four-Pack Essential MaxStretch Briefs is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Soft but a bit baggy I wore each pair a few times, with washing in-between each, before writing this review. They are made from a decent soft lightweight material and are fairly comfortable to wear due to the light and soft material. On the picture/packaging for these they show a “normal brief” form fitting pair of underwear. However they don’t form fit per say as they are a bit baggy even when pulled up to a mid-rise waist location with a bit of slack around the crotch area and over the butt. The material did stay dry even when I was active. Due to their looseness, the support in them was not as good as some other Jockey briefs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Support Briefs These MaxStretch Briefs are probably the most comfortable briefs I have ever worn. The added Spandex provides the extra stretch needed to maintain all day fit and comfort. The heavy waistband and mid-rise style keep them in place without the waistband showing over the pants. The formed pouch provides gentle all day support. The only thing that would make these briefs better would be if they had a better fly. The keyhole fly is difficult to use, and the briefs would be much more comfortable with either the traditional Y-Front Fly or the horizontal fly. I highly recommend these briefs for everyday wear, and they are very supportive for activity wear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feel on my skin This is a very soft and comfortable material to have against your skin. It’s lightweight, not too thick or heavy, and breathable. The waist fits well (size lrg) and the front cut of the brief holds my frontside well and comfy. The backside is a pretty full cut and comes down well below the cheeks. Thus becoming baggy through the day. There seems to be too much material on the backside, and I have a big weight lifters butt that pretty much fills every pair I own. I would try a medium, but fear they would then be too tight in the waist and pouch. My one recommendation for these briefs would be to pull the backside tighter and maybe cut a little higher. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not great I wore this product a few times before submitting a review, in order to be confident in my experience. I’m disappointed in these briefs, overall. I had two issues. First, these have no pouch up front, and despite the “max stretch” name, they don’t develop a pouch — even after repeated wearings and washings. Consequently, they’re uncomfortably restricting. Second, there seems to be too much fabric in the rear, and it wants to bunch up near the bottom, between my legs. This was true for me even when wearing the waistband at my natural waist. This resulted in an odd sensation that wasn’t comfortable. On the whole, I wouldn’t recommend this product. Jockey has much better options. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Briefs with minor exception The Max Stretch briefs are some of the better briefs that Jockey makes. The material is very soft, quickly dries and retains the shape all day. The waistband is also very soft and does not cut into your skin. The fly is functional, easy to get out and back into. The only downfall is these are full rise briefs and not mid rise briefs. I am a younger guy and I prefer my waistband to sit a little lower. I also feel the pouch could be slightly larger or contoured to allow for fewer adjustments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable but lacking in one area I haven’t worn briefs for many years but thought I would give these a try. First of all they are very comfortable. The waistband does not roll over and feels nice next to the skin. The area that I didn’t think very highly of is the “hammock” section that connects the front and rear of the brief. This area is not very wide. I found myself slipping out of it at times. I am not that big in that area, so it’s not really me I don’t think. Maybe some better elastic would resolve this issue. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice brief but not the roomiest. The overall quality of these briefs was great. These were well made and very soft. The cotton/spandex blend helps these hold up well, with the blacks keeping dark and the whites bright. These kept their shape well after washing. My only complaint was they ran smaller then I thought and doesn't have a lot of room up front. If you're a well equipped man I would suggest ordering a size up or something with a pouch front. For everyone else this is a great project. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fabric Makes Great Update to a Classic For anyone who prefers the look and fit of the classic brief, this is a worthwhile update. The fabric is light, yet supportive. The briefs retain their shape well, and launder wonderfully. I tried this product in both the brief and midway styles, and I have to say the midway is the better version. As a brief, the front pouch tends to pull the leg openings open a bit, making things a little more breezy than I've experienced with other briefs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
