Rated 5 out of 5 by from FINALLY! Keurig gets it right again!! I had purchased a K450 when my beloved Platinum brewer died after 8.5 years. I hated it from the get-go! It was slow; noisy; had the smallest water tank; needed to warm up between cups (I usually use big cups and use the kcup twice and it was annoying to wait for this monstrosity to heat back up when it was just working. Hated it! Low and behold this simple, sleek, really quiet and really fast model comes along and I'm back in LOVE!!! It's fast; it's efficient; it's simple; the water tank is a glorious size (but given the big tubs I like to have my coffee in you can never have a big enough water tank). It's the closest thing to my old Platinum I could ever get to!!! Thank you Keurig you got it right and now you have made amends for that terrible line of brewers you had before.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not so good for me I bought this from Costco about 4 months ago and a part already broke and cannot find where to get a replacement. Make about 4 cups/day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my first Keurig K-Elite I just bought my Keurig k-elite and love it. I like the idea that I can make one cup of coffee. I also like having the ability of having different flavors every day. Bought it at Costco for a great price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Brewer - no real size options I bought this brewer for the simple fact that it could brew a variety of sizes and flavors. Since then NO KMUGS pods are even produced for it.. So much for making a quick travel mug for the road! There are only 22 Vue cups available... which only go as high as 10oz. And only 11 Carafes... When I first bought it there were well over a 100 options between K-Mugs and Vue pods... So I say don't waste your money as this trend is not good and soon you will only have K-cup options available. If I wanted small cups each and every time... I would have bought a different machine.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Purchased and returned I puchased this model from Costco this weekend. I bought it because it advertised 2 temps 187 and 192. I tried several times, water never got hotter than 175-178 even on the 192 setting. I used a thermometer & even boiled water to make sure the thermometer was working ok, yep, it was. The K-Elite wasn't any hotter than my 5 yr old B70 platium. Sure wish you made them like that one, it's a solid machine, wish it still heated to the 192 temp. The K-Elite is not as solid as my B70 although it does have some similar features. The water recepticle lid doesn't have a flap, you have to take the whole thing off and the recepticle is not made as thick as my B70 is, looks easy to crack. Go back to what worked and was a solid machine please.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sub-par... iced coffee feature? joke I LOVE my keurigs and reward myself with the top of whatever current line up is every two-ish years, even when we have no issues with our current machine. USUALLY I find my choice houses pleasant surprises, but this "Elite" edition is lack-luster at best. We opted to get a fresh k-elite and get rid of our 525 because it seemed like a worthy replacement... Aesthetically it is gorgeously sleek, but really out of character to not be able to see the water level at a front glance. The control panel is so flat that you also can't see it (like the clock feature) without standing directly over it. They have done away with the touch screen and went back to buttons. They have gotten rid of the clever half-lid and went back to having to take the entire thing off to refill and clumsily put the lid back on that almost never goes on right the first time....It functions like a keurig is supposed to though - no major malfunctions, no leaks, no issues with timers, sizes or strength options here, nothing wrong with hot water and pods. There were SO many options with the 525 in terms of size and type of brews, that this is a sad replacement, and truly an unnecessary upgrade from the classic. To be quite honest, I'm offended that Keurig would even use "iced coffee" to market this machine, AS IF WE HAVEN'T ALREADY BEEN BREWING OVER ICE FOR YEARS. This is a real selling point for people and something I had hoped to be surprised with. The novelty iced coffee button spittles out hot water over ice cubes, melting the ice cubes anyway, watering down your iced coffee before you even get to drink it (and let's be honest, allow your ice cubes to melt on your own...) I'll always love my keurigs, But give us a machine with innovation that brews a little cooler for real iced coffee and THEN call it "elite."
