Artisan Mini 3.5-qt. Stand Mixer KSM3311X is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 254.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Size Now that Im older with arthritis in my wrists and hands sometimes my 5 qt was a bit much to deal with. I debated on the mini because the bowl had no handle. And I love my glass bowl with the lid on my 5 qt. I found a metal bowl, had to purchase seperately for the mini and got it. I LOVE IT....it fits under the cabinets and is out on the counter all the time. It has the power to do what I need. And it is beautiful I will keep the 5 qt for larger heavier doughs... I would love to have the glass bowl with the handle and lid....Im hoping kitchen aid offers one soon. Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect size for Small kitchen always wanted a Kitchenaid and finally splurged on the Artisan Mini on sale - in Hot Sauce color (fun!). Somewhat disappointed. First use: It made my cookies well but the texture was a little different, no big deal. However, to add ingredients, you have to stop and raise the mixing head - there's no room. When you raise it, the dough in/on the whip falls outside the bowl. It's impossible to clear the whip while attached and messy when you try to detach. I agree with others that had I know this, I might have gone for the larger Kitchenaid ... but with the kids grown, why? It is a good machine for my use and I would recommend with several reservations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Artisan Mini not just for Artisans! I bought this as a Christmas gift to myself with thoughts that it would be great for our out of the country move this year. It weighs in so much lighter than our classic 20 year old model. I have used it several times and it has been absolutely perfect. The attachments do fit and it makes me happy that I can have my cake and eat it too! I can easily carry a less than 15 lb unit in our luggage (or ship it if we decide to go that route) as my KitchenAid is a necessity in my kitchen. Thank you, Kitchen Aid for a wonderful product. The tilt head is a feature that isn't on my older model and I love it!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Attachments are awesome I've had my mini for several months now. I wanted to buy a KitchenAid mixer primarily for the spiralizer & sheet cutting attachments. I found them a bit tricky to master, but I love them. I struggled over whether to buy the mini or the regular size mixer as I rarely bake and we are only a 2 person household. Based upon reviews, I settled on the mini. It would take up less space on the counter & function fine for my small household usage. For those with the same questions, I'd just like them to know that I wish I'd bought the full size model now. The gap between where you can add ingredients to the bowl is so tight. It is almost impossible to add stuff while the mixer is running. I know there is a shoot you can buy to add ingredients, but then that's just another attachment to clean. In the corner where I keep mine, the bigger version would make little difference. The mini is cute, but for function go for the full size!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Size and Great Performance! Just pick this up to help me with many of the baking recipes that I make, just getting to old to do everything by hand. It has a ton of muscle for such a little stand mixer and I was very pleased with the results from the get go. The only drawback is the bowl isn't very wide but is deep so a little awkward getting chips mixed in but the only way that I could see to change that would require a whole new design. Overall I am extremely happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the right size. This smaller size is so much easier to get out of the cupboard. I also like the slower speed to start mixing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Size! I purchased my Kitchenaid Mini last month. I already owned a large Kitchenaid stand mixer for about 40 years, which I will use for large recipes. But now that there is just two of us the mini makes better kitchen cabinet use. I was also excited about the better use of my attachments it is much easier to use with the shorter height. Made spaghetti noodles last night and it was a delight to work with the more reachable height. I was a bit nervous before I purchased about the mixer paddle being open in the middle, I had seen a lot of reviews where that was a dislike. But I have made many things with this mini and I find that is not at all a problem in fact I like the ease in scrapping off the paddle delightful and much easier. It did not have any detrimental effect in the mixing of any batter I have made. I highly recommend Kitchenaid and for small spaces the Kitchenaid Mini is fantastic! All the power you love Kitchenaid for in a smaller package! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
