Rated 5 out of 5 by Chlo' from Amzing juicer I was in the market for a juicer and it was hard to decide which one would be the best investment. My boyfriend bought me a Kitchen Aid for my birthday and I was so excited for all of the attachments I couldn't wait to purchase. This juicer is great! Not only can I make juices but I can make sauces and just get creative. I am culinary student and the fact that I have more than one use for this attachment is a huge bonus. I would recommend this product to any kitchen aid lover who is looking for a new kitchen toy. This juicer can spruce up your food plus a start to a healthier lifestyle. Rated 1 out of 5 by JessicaAnne from Does Not Work Well I recently got one of these after researching different juicers and have tried to use it three times. Each time it gets jammed up, makes a clicking sound and sounds like the whole unit is going to break. I have to take it apart and it makes a huge mess. It is difficult to clean and overall seems to not be sturdy enough for daily juicing. I was very excited to use this and save counter space and am generally happy with Kitchenaid products. This was a waste of money and I ended up using a regular juicer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by tls1fla from Less mess We bought the juicer attachment about a month ago after using a friend's juicing machine. Found this Kitchenaid unit to be easy to use and clean. The hard waste was dry and exited the unit well. I juiced lemons, limes and ginger. And froze the juice in ice cube trays, then transfered them to freezer bags. Couple of tips, at least for me... for fear of the citrus rinds gumming up the unit, I zested the lemons, then cut the balance of the rind off before juicing. I also cut the ginger into smaller pieces to fit the shoot. Overall the attachment oerformed well and i was very pleased with the outcome. Next purchase... a spiralizer. Rated 1 out of 5 by Karen from Pass on this attachment I received this for a gift, hoping to make my own juices. I have made two juices, I spent more time cleaning out the reservoir as the pulp spout clogged several times. The juice was thick, had to put the juice thru three times and still was very thick but better. If I wanted thick juice I would eat the veggies and fruit puréed. Rated 5 out of 5 by Milkman from Great piece of equipment I recently purchased this equipment and wonder how I managed without it for many of the dishes I make. It is now an invaluable item in my kitchen. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by KaylaDouv from Dissapointing I was SO excited when I found out Kitchenaid made a juicer attachment only to be extremely disappointed. Like many other reviewers, i thought this would solve our need to have a separate juicer appliance and take up less counter space but I will be replacing it. It's loud, very slow and often struggles to keep up. When trying to juice leafy vegetables such as spinach, the juice jams up and the basket clogs up. I've given up on juicing carrots because it just can't seem to keep up and the pulp still has LOTS of juice. All in all I'm very disappointed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by Handy in the kitchen from Beets are bad I finally got my wife a stand mixer for Xmas, but our son bought one for the both of us. We took one back and got a bunch of attachments, including the macerating juicer. We were really enjoying it. The pasta sauce recipe was delicious over some spiralized zucchini. We managed to try 3 of the juice recipes in the manual. The ruby red juice killed the juicer. I dropped a half a small beet down the feed tube and heard gears stripping until it seized up entirely. I hope I didn't damage the mixer also. We're hoping to replace it, but won't be juicing any beets or hard vegetables. We have a 525 Watt mixer, but the juicer couldn't handle a beet. Rated 1 out of 5 by Kgray000 from Don’t waste your money I am not sure where those 5 star reviews came from unless these people are juicing glasses of water. Mine plugs up constantly and truly takes the fun out of juicing. It’s a real shame because I trusted the KitchenAid name. Kale, carrots, beets, celery, etc. plug up the discharge chute in a minute. I really wish I would have invested in a real juicer. and the mess this thing makes for a six ounce glass of juice is ridiculous.
