Rated 1 out of 5 by ant from i would not buy this product again I reviewed on here a few months back and lee told me that some people liked the fit of the new jean. Where? everyone here that has reviewed since may of 2016 have said the same things that I did.... long time buyer, let down by how tight and uncomfortable the new jeans are. If you really want to provide for your customers then go back to the way they were made December of 2015. I mean change the smaller sizes all you want but it is clear that everyone who has reviewed her has become very reliant upon the cut and fit of these jeans. GIVE YOUR CUSTOMERS WHAT WE WANT or else why do it at all?

Rated 5 out of 5 by BubbaIHMC from Carpenter Jeans are #1 Of all the jeans I have tried to wear these are the best fitting. I am a very large man. And have very large calves. And after sitting on a bike for 8 hours or so my legs tend to swell a bit. These are just right. Big fellas take note. You are not gonna find a better fit in the legs. I have and will continue to tell all of my big boy friends and brothers about these. Some of them have been forced to wear sweat pants because the legs on even relaxed fit jeans are uncomfortable. They look like and feel like sausage skins. Thank you Lee Jeans. YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER!

Rated 1 out of 5 by NOT A LEE FAN ANYMORE from I WILL CHANGE BRANDS OF JEANS NOW I have been wearing the Carpenter style jeans for over 20 years and have always loved them. My wife noticed I could use some fresh jeans and ordered two pairs for Christmas. The fit is terrible, much more narrow in the legs. The material feels cheap, and the price was not. Why change something that works? More profit for your company? If that was the case, I would gladly pay more for the old cut and material. I will need to find another brand of jeans for the next 20 or so years. I never even considered another brand until you made these horrible "improvements".

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jeff K from Not 100% cotton Although I've used these jeans for many many years and have always enjoyed the fit and comfort they offer I'll need to find another brand. After receiving my last order I discovered half the jeans where not 100% cotton like stated in the description and the fit between the two types of materials are not even close. My purchase included two sizes, the smaller size was 100% cotton and fit well however the larger size was 25% polyester and I couldn't even zip them up. I contacted Lee's customer service department to inquire about the issue. They informed me the cotton poly blend is what they are selling now and they would change the description to not include 100% cotton and there was no way to tell which type of material I would receive during the transition. In conclusion it saddens me to say but If your looking for that original trusted fit or 100% cotton needed for work you'll need to find a different brand of carpenter jeans. J.K.

Rated 1 out of 5 by anthony from I would not buy this again I am a big guy and I had always relied on these jeans and been a loyal customer for nearly a decade (Two new pairs once a year) because they were comfortable and they fit well, I bought two pairs and they no longer fit, so I bought a size up and they still fit tight in the legs and seat, which they never did before, I called lee and the customer service had no idea what I was talking about they told me to check the product number, so I did that only to find that it is the same as the old jeans that I still have that still fit fine, it is just that they changed their product, and until I see a review from someone that states that they have purchased these jeans and seen the problem fixed then I will not be buying this brand any longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dino from Long time buyer so disappointed. I have bought Lee big and tall carpenter jeans for the past 10 years. I would probably average 3 or more jeans bought per year. The recent change has made them tight and uncomfortable. I am a big guy and its very hard to find jeans that fit well. Before your jeans fit amazing. I wish I could buy the old design I would purchase 10 pairs right now! Please go back to the old style.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Big Guy from The fit has changed I've been buying these jeans for years. As a big man it was hard to find jeans that fit well and were durable. Recently the fabric and cut of the jeans have changed. The new fabric is not 100% cotton. This new cut just doesn't fit well. The rise of the jeans is much longer causing the jeans to bunch uncomfortably in the wrong places. I'm so disappointed. I loved my Lee jeans!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Tygr from Great Jeans..Hate the Leg Diameter for B&T clothes I greatly enjoy the jeans, however I hate really really hate that when I buy jeans I have to figure out how to taper the legs. I am short but fat. I do not have a huge boat for a foot. And I do not have the typical chunky legs. So when I order jeans in my size its waist good, length good, but the diameter of the leg is horribly bad. They are 20" diameter and I need roughly 18" not much difference, but it makes it so much better. I think that shoud be an option for buy jeans online, you pick the size, the length, why not add the leg diameter to it as well. I love them but I need to have them tapered a little.
