Inconsistent Quality
My husband has worn 501 STF jeans for decades. The last time I ordered some, they came out of the wash twisted with numerous deep wrinkles that left lighter colored streaks. They are difficult to fold. I end up trying to wrestle them into submission every week, and I curse the name Levi! Even so, I recently purchased 4 new pair. Three pair came out of the wash twisted and wrinkly. The other pair came out perfectly and felt softer. I checked the labels and found the 3 wrinkled pair were made in Mexico. The good pair was made in Egypt. It’s maddening to know there are better quality versions that I may never see again. It’s the worst lottery ever.

Always Have Work 501 Button Fly Shrink-to-Fit
Have always preferred 501 shrink-to-fit to any other brand or style. I find it interesting that people have said they're true to size. Anybody knows they shrink 1" in the waist and about 2"in length. Always have.
I bought two pair three years ago and they have been my daily work wear. I prolly have another year or two before work wears them out.

Some Things Never Change
I have been wearing 501s for over fifty years. I am pleasantly surprised to find the quality of these britches remain the same. Write this down folks as this does not happen often. Thank you Levi's.

Like the 501
I love these jeans, would buy all the time, but for some reason they quit doing the double stitch inseam and only do a single stitch.will go back to buying if that’s ever fixed

Disappointed
The two stars is for the experience not the product. Ordered two pairs of these. One fit and one didn't. Supposed to be 33" waist and one of them is 30" and legs longer too. Go figure. What a frustration. I can't believe the lack of quality control these days. These two pairs even came from the same country! Now, how many times do I get to exchange one
pair to get another one that fits? Guess I won't. Will just return them and forget about it! The jeans seem fine, however.

100% cotton, made in Mexico, purchased in Ontario, Canada. Accurate sizing, dark wash and fits over boots. I like the button fly.

Fits over motorcycle / cowboy boots
100% cotton. Made in Mexico. Some sort of dark wash. I like the 501 jean because it fits over my motorcycle boots, but isn't overly loose like the boot cut. These were bought in Canada, hence the French on the labels. the foot opening on these jeans is about15". If the circumference of your boots is larger than 14", then it won't go over your boot without a struggle.

Quality, value, timeless, iconic style.
The 501 never goes out of style. My wife recently talked me into the colored 501, (I have always been a denim fan). I resisted; she persisted. When I finally agreed to try the white & black options, I was surprised! They are definitely elevated style. I will definitely be buying more of the colored options now that I can see for myself how cool & versatile they are!
