Rated 2 out of 5 by Jim3611 from Not the same quality as old Levi's 505 These Levi's 505 were described as "Tumbled Rigid". There is nothing rigid about them, at least not like the rigid 501's. The material is flimsy and light. What happened to the heavyweight denim Levi's used to be made out of. Not the same quality as the brand used to produce.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AlanInHouston from NICE LIGHT WEIGHT JEANS (TUMBLED RIGID) The 505 "Regular Fit" jeans are nice light weight jeans in the "Tumbled Rigid" color, with my 33/32 pair weighing a light 24 oz. compared with the mid-weight Black color 505 jeans that weigh 27 oz. The "Apricot" tropical color weighs a silly light 21 oz. The Levi website should post the weight for each color choice. A person wearing mid-weight 27 oz. jeans will be upset to receive a thin 24 oz. pair of jeans, especially if it is December in Montana. The lighter weight jeans are fine for summers in Texas and the thin fabric is suitable for wearing in an office or to a restaurant. These are NOT heavy duty work jeans. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall, weigh 180 pounds and have a 35 inch waist. The 33 waist works well with the 505 because the waistline stretches about an inch the first week of wearing and another inch over a month or two of wearing. The 32 length is a problem. Even washing in cold water and line drying, the 32 length shrunk to a 31.5 inch length, a tad short. So I have ordered other pairs in a 34 length which I can cuff or have altered. My thighs and rear are smaller than average for a 180 pound guy. The 505's are a bit loose around the hips and thighs, but not "baggy". That slightly loose fit makes them easy to move around in and more comfortable in hot weather. The thin fabric makes them feel "broken in" after just the first washing. EXACT inseams such as 31, 33, and 35 are NOT available. Levi jeans are expensive and it adds to the expense to have to buy a longer inseam and then have them tailored down to a 33 inseam. The 33 inseam is probably the most common in America (men 5 feet 10 inches tall to six feet two inches tall but Levi refuses to sell 505 jeans in a 33 inseam. Why?

Rated 4 out of 5 by VNiccoli from Almost perfect! I ordered a size 34x29. I got the jeans showing that size (as seen on the patch) but after comparing it to my other levi's 34x30 jeans they were at the same length. I was given a 34x30 pair, removed that patch and sewed in a 34x29 patch is what it looks like. Other than that it's all good.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Shiro from Fits small I bought these in my usual size that I use for other brands like Gap, BR, and Lucky, and these were far tighter and more uncomfortable than any of my other jeans. I ended up giving them to a coworker of mine whose waist is 2" shorter than mine and they fit him well. Other than that they seemed like quality, well constructed jeans.
