It's called a smoother, so expect a smoother
This is an excellent garment if you're looking just to create a seamless look under your clothes. There's no boning or anything that's going to help stuff me into a dress that's a little snug. I'd be happy to keep it for day-to-day wear though.
In the interest of comparison (because I find these tend to help in reviews), I'm 5'2", about 130 pounds, and wear a size 4-6 pant and size 8-10 top. It's a pretty high back; it goes right to the bottom tip of my shoulder blade and the material bunched at the crotch. Otherwise, it fit just fine.

this is the best piece of shape wear that I have ever owned. I am 5'1 and 135 lbs. I wear 8/10 pants and 12/14 tops. bra size 36DD. I wear one of these body suits every day of my life. they are so light weight and smooth, and do not cling to your clothes at all. the straps are fully adjustable, so the fit is great for people of all sizes. the back of this body suit comes up to the top of your bra line, so it does cover your bra, and it smoothes out that bra bulge and armpit bulge, that my friends and I refer to as "back bacon". the crotch opening is exactly like the back strap of a 3 hook bra. easy to hook and unhook. "butt lift" is not really a feature of this item, but it does contain and smooth it out. there is no elastic in the leg opening, so no ride up, and there is absolutely no visible panty line. not even in tight exercise pants. they do not ride up..... one of the reasons I switched from shape wear tanks, was because I was always having to pull them back down. the material is not shiny, it is semi-sheer, clothes slide on smoothly, and blends well with clothes. I wash and dry these, just like everything else, just make sure that you re-attach the hooks so that they do not catch on other clothes and twist themselves up. (you know what I mean!). after losing weight, I have these in size M-XL. I love the smooth feel so much, that I sleep in the XL ones.(I wear a jog bra to sleep as well, for support.). I wear the L ones for casual, exercise, etc. I wear the M ones for work, dresses, every day clothes, and when I want firmer coverage. do not base your size selection on your bra size, base it on your torso size, as you wear your own bra with it. ex. pants size not shirt size. though light weight and semi sheer, they do offer great support. I cannot rave enough! if I could afford it, I would own 10 of each color!

No bulges! Yay!
I am 5'5" tall, around 135 lbs. I have purchased at least 4 different styles of body shapers over the past 5 years and never found one that didn't cause bulging - top of my knees, backside, waist, etc. Until ... this one! It was the smooth seam at the leg caught my attention. I ordered 2 and LOVE them! I am ordering 2 more today. Another nice surprise - back support! Easy to wear, comfortable, especially helps w/my long walks as my back isn't so stressed. I hope they never stop making it!

Comfortable and lightweight with excellent support
I bought one for my nephew's wedding to wear under a slim silk dress. I'm 4'11" tall and wear a 32DD or 32DDD bra. I hadn't seen one like this before, so figured I'd try it. So much more comfortable than other shapers I've had in the past. I have one in nude, and plan to order another in black, since I could easily wear this with casual or work clothes as well as when I get dressed up. As someone else said, this would be much better than those slimming tank tops that ride up, and I can see wearing it with a close fitting sweater and jeans. It won't work with a dress that's cut low in back. The sides come up a little high, so that can be an issue with some sleeveless dresses. I tried it with one cotton dress and it was great until I saw it peeking out under the arms. Still giving it 5 stars. The material is thin but it slims you down about a size I'd say, at least in a dress. I have it in size small.

Versatile
This is the best smoother I have purchased. It makes clothing fit so much better whether you have extra size or is slim built. It is very lightweight and easily hand washable. The hook and eye is also comfortable. Best worn with undergarments. I can wear my own bra and it also gives it an uplift effect. I will be purchasing another.

it did what it is supposed to do
Size S is the perfect size for me. I am 5'2" 100 pounds. The shapewear is easy to wear and it smooths everything. I wear it under tight clothing especially when something is too see through. The only complaint I have is the back of the shapewear is too high. I would prefer it to dip lower but still cover the back of the bra.

Perfect fit
First timer here. I have been looking for a body shaper for long time. A friend recommended this site. I am 5'2" and 145lbs. First i looked at the sizing info amd decided to order a large. The body shaper feels great next to the skin. I plan on ordering another one.
