Catch some laughs and learning with this wooden magnetic play set--complete with working wind-up reel! The 10 magnetic fish are numbered and patterned to enrich matching, sorting and counting activities. Plus, two wooden rods make collecting them a blast. Kids can use the spinner to play as a game, or just have fun collecting the pieces over and over again. Either way, there's plenty of fun in this sea!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TyRiffic Granny from Fun, keeps child entertained for about 30 minutes at a time. I bought this for my 17 mos old grandson a week ago. He was very excited when he first got it. His 11 yr old brother seemed to enjoy it a lot more at first. Once he got the hang of it, the younger one loved it. Cons: The plastic fishing bobber is constantly coming apart, which can be frustrating. Luckily, putting the two pieces back together is pretty easy for my 17 mos old grandson. Also, the blue storage bag is a bit flimsy for a rough and tough toddler. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this toy to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robert from Worthwhile toy for multiple reasons 27 mo boy.. great for coordination which he requires. Loves it.. though not ready for more advanced version of competing for highest score but that will come in time. Displayed steady hand (right or left) after about 3 days. A provider who helps him with movement etc was impressed enough that she is ordering same for the kids she works with.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Becky from Favorite Toy My 2.5 yr old boy loves this toy. He plays with is everyday. The red and white cork come apart like a plastic easter egg, which is the only negative side of this product. If you lose half of the cork, the fishing pole game wont work. Also if you step on the cork it breaks easily. They need to sell replacement corks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Content child! from IT'S A MUST!! My 3 yr old loves this toy! He just got it for Christmas and can't put it down. It's a sturdy toy for kids .. what child is meant to be gentle on toys? lol Also the string come out about 15 in.. long enough to fish but not reek havoc. So yeah for your fishing buddie who isn't quit ready for a hook.. highly recommended not to mention the education aspect :D

Rated 3 out of 5 by Michele from Fun for a 3 year old My 3-1/2 year old grandson loved this but I just wish that the string was a little longer as it would make it easier for him to reel in the fish. Trying to reel in the fish is 1/2 the fun and you unfortunately could only turn it once or twice

Rated 4 out of 5 by PattyA from Still on the fence about this one... I already owned the magnetic fishing game, which the kids seem to enjoy. I thought this might be a nice "upgrade" for them. I have two 2yr olds, a 4yr old and a few 6yr olds in my daycare. Only the 2yr olds seem to have any real interest in it and they aren't really coordinated enough yet to use it properly. I have not had any problems with the bobber as mentioned in other reviews. The mesh bag is great for storage though I think it would have been better with a drawstring closure rather than Velcro. The pictures show a blue strip of paper that the fish can lie on. Mine was yellow, and the spinner was fastened in the center of it. I cut the spinner out of it, but decided later that maybe I should have kept it on the paper as the spinner does not spin easily on the carpet. I was simply going by the pictures on the box. Toy seems well made, but maybe I should have paid more attention to the recommended ages. For now, the magnetic puzzle is the preferred toy of choice between the two. We do use the fish for other games, so I'm sure we'll get plenty of play out of it eventually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris from I've caught the parents playing this one! I've seen the parents playing with this game instead of just picking it up and putting it away! Our 15 month old grandson loves it and is quite good at catching the fish. Excellent game.
