Rated 5 out of 5 by Benji's Mom from High quality, beautiful and simple This kitchen is fantastic. I bought it for my 3 y.o. son for Christmas and he LOVED it. I love that it is very gender neutral and constructed of real wood. The fridge/cabinet and oven are very roomy. The burners and sink are generously sized. The only thing I didn't like is that the timer is rather cheap and doesn't always ring. I put it together in about an hour on Christmas eve, but I was working slowly. The instructions are excellent, very clear, step-by-step pictoral diagrams. Every different type of part and screw is indiviually packaged and numbered or lettered so they don't get mixed up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FTWORTHGAL from Great Kitchen for Boys! My 2 1/2 year old received this for Christmas. My husband was not thrilled with the idea of our son getting a kitchen, but its actually very simple and as boy as it can get - durable, simple colors, etc. He really enjoys it thus far. I do wish it had a bit more to entertain on it like some of the others have or come with pots and pans or something else, but at least you can purchase. However; no Melissa and Doug sets are just pots, pans, oven mitt, and utensils. They need to offer that in my opinion. :) Otherwise, a great buy and easy to ensemble.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jazzy's mom from Looks very nice We bought this product for our daughter's 2nd birthday last week and she loved playing with it. It's a little time-consuming to assemble, but the instructions manual is very detailed and easy to follow. I love the color and the size is perfect for our apartment. The only problem we've had is that the screw for one of the sinks broke off during assembly so we weren't able to install it. Overall, this kitchen is great compared to the plastic kind sold in the stores.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lori from corner kitchen I bought this for my 2 year old, and she LOVES it! The kitchen is small and sturdy. The colors are bright and cheerful. There is storage for kitchen accessories. And it is easy to move from place to place. The only downside is that it does not come assembled. While it is not difficult to put together (the instructions for assembly are detailed), it does take time; it took me about 2 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Education oriented, working parent from Great Kitchen (Overview) My husband and my parents bought this kitchen for my 5 year old's Christmas present. We use this kitchen to keep our daughter out of the real kitchen. We bought several food sets to go with it and she is perfectly happy cooking 'her own' food. (Pros) This corner kitchen is small enough to be apartment friendly. It's bright, durable, and can store play food. Two small children can easily play with the Corner Kitchen at the same time. (Con) The only thing I can say that 'isn't so great' about this product is: This is not something to assemble if you are easily frustrated, have limited dexterity, or have no prior experience with assembling toys or furniture. I am writing this based on my mother-in-law's attempt at assembling this item herself. She laughed and asked if I could try assembling it. I'm not a handy person, but I had a fairly easy time assembling the kitchen by myself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by irritated bostonian from Got a degree in construction? I've been trying to put this thing together for over 3 hours now and it's still not done. It's ridiculous! I can put anything from [...] together w/ my eyes closed. I'm not all thumbs, nor am I dim- but this thing is ridiculous! There's like 13 bags of screws, a 20 page instruction book and unclear drawings to boot. I bought it at [...] and if it wasn't such a PITA to return stuff to them, this kitchen would be going back in a heartbeat. I just hope I can get it finished before my 18 month old goes to middle school.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stitchy Gal from Thanks for the Help! My son loves all the Melissa and Doug food toys. We aquired the Cook's Corner kitchen as a "hand me down". It had been well loved. Thankfully Customer Service was able to send me all the replacement hardware we needed! Great company!
