Rated 1 out of 5 by melsco from Disappointed I bought my Mr. Coffee 12-cup programmable coffee maker, JWX23WM, August 26th of this year (2016) and it quit working 2 days ago. My husband plugged it up to make coffee before he went to work and all it did was beep like it does when the brewing cycle is finished. This is the first Mr. Coffee coffeemaker I have ever purchased, and it may be my last. I have always wanted a Mr. Coffee brand, and since this one was on sale, I jumped at the chance to buy it. I can say that I am very disappointed with this product only lasting 3 and a half months and I'm not sure that I will be replacing it with another, even though it does make an excellent cup of coffee.

Rated 1 out of 5 by helan from Not once, but twice! Based on reviews by Consumer Reports, I purchased a Mr. Coffee JWX Series 12-cup coffeemaker about 2 or 2-1/2 years ago. It worked fine for a while, but after about a year the coffee was not brewing properly; the half of the grounds were dry; the coffee had not stepped properly. I wrote to the company, and was surprised and delighted in August 2013 when they sent me a new Mr. Coffee JWX Series. The new Mr. Coffee worked fine ... for a while. Now the same problem is occurring; some of the grounds remain dry. I see that Consumer Reports still rates this product high, but the "brew performance is "good" (not very good or excellent). I would not recommend this product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by DERFbot from Disappointed,, nice , JUST DIED..NO COFFEE.. Sad, I thought I had finally got an easy machine to use, clean and be safe.. Well cleaned it according to book at time of so many pots brewed,, everything fine,, then just out of the blue, no coffee,, would not turn on,, nothing was stopped up,, made a clicking sound but that was it.. tried several times,, so disappointed.. thought this simple programmable, turn off in 2 hours was the answer, especially after leaving on the old pot several times and forgetting to turn it off.. oh well.. not a happy camper,, had it less than a year, but no receipt,, no use,, they fade out anyway..

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pats from Very disappointed in this product I've owned Mr. Coffees for as long as I've been drinking coffee.. A LONG time. I bought this model because of the red color. After about a week I started getting grounds in the bottom of the pot. My husband's figured out that when you put the pot under the brewing basket, it doesn't engage it correctly, so water overflows and grounds end up in the bottom of the pot. I was going to get another one, but can no longer find this model. Wonder why? It worked great for a week so didn't keep my receipt. I'd remain a Mr. Coffee customer if you'd send me exactly this model for free. Otherwise - bye bye... Sorry.....

It looked nice but it apparently could not hold up to daily use. Usually Mr. Coffee has good products but this one let me down. I had to go back to using the cheap $20 coffee maker by another company I bought at Wal-mart. I have used it now 5 times longer than this coffee maker. I am just glad I did not throw it out...I need my morning coffee.

The 1st one we had for almost 18 months which is why I bought another when it stopped working but the 2nd one did not work long the cleaning light kept coming on did not matter if it was just cleaned it just kept coming on then one day it would not turn on at all it was only a couple of months old but i went ahead and bought another this one only lasted two brew cycles and it died. My husband turned it on and it short circuited out. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE MR COFFEE PRODUCTS NOW

I look online, and between this site and Amazon, there are about 12 reviews out of 20 stating that it stopped working after two months. Where have you gone Joe Dimagio?

The first was purchased in June of last year and woke up one morning on a freezing cold winter morning to no coffee. Dead. Nothing. Bought another because I loved the ease of use and the features and thought the first was just a fluke. Woke up this morning 6 months later to NO COFFEE. Not a good start to any day. Won't make the mistake a third time.
